"Pirates! Pirates!" The other team shouted.
"Don't let them overpower us!" I shouted to the basketball team I supported and played on. I pointed at the other side of the court where we had a bunch of onlookers. "We're much stronger than them!"
This got everyone crazy and I mean crazily wild... I even think the pirates were going to come for my head.
"Eagles! Eagles!" I stopped joining the cheer, coughing a bit with a rough throat. Ouch...
"Kylee!" A distant voice called. I spun around to see the co-captain of the cheering squad, his blond locks bouncing up and down making me laugh. His hair was always different, yet stylish in a weird way.
"Yo, Jazzie. What's up?" I asked with a smile and small wave. He ran towards me and only stopped until he was closer to me, panting slightly with his hands on his knees.
"I-Is it true? Is it true you're leaving the team?!" He yelled. The eagle's basketball team, which I'll remind you and say they were playing a game, focus was turned towards me as the cheering squad stared before them at the scene. Everyone went quiet due to confusion.
"Hehe, you're making such a scene, Jazzie. Even without my special tricks everyone notices me." I tried changing the subject while rubbing the back of my head, smiling sheepishly to them, I bet.
"Eagles, 1st time out!" The ref. called out. I turned on my heel to see Josh talking to the referee. I flinched when an arm was slung roughly around my shoulder.
"Now, what's this about quitting the team?" A menacing voice asked sounding very threatening, in my opinion. I turned around to see the regulars standing tall and proud looking down at me giving me the look Talk-or-we-will-harm-you-physically-or-mentally. I gulped, earning a slight snicker from a newbie on the team.
"I actually HAVE to quit." I admitted. I took a step back to bump into Charles, the best defender on the team who reminds me of a brick wall held together my concrete.
"You don't have to. You love basketball, right?" The co-captain and point guard took a step forward and bent down to look into my eyes. I diverted my gaze.
"Well, I can't stay on a team if I want to join another te-" Someone punches me in the face. I lose my balance easily and fell to the left where everyone moved away not wanting to be involved. Gee, how nice of you guys.
"What's wrong with this team, Kylee?" The captain asked. I wiped the blood from my nose and stood up gaining confidence.
"A player should be allowed to quit anytime." I said, grabbing my duffel bag. "Anyway, I'm moving to Japan, where my aunt lives."
This gains everyone's attention. I speed walk to the gate, flinging it open to leave.
"Kylee, wait. I'm sorry. I mean it, I'm sorry!" The captain's voice was fading from my mind as I ran as fast as I could. Anyone could easily have caught up with me but nobody came after. It was after all, a small fight between the captain of the cheering squad and the captain of the basketball team of the eagles.

" Sorry, for the seventy-seventh time :( " The text read. I sighed and closed it to receive another message. Again?! I flipped open my pure white, clean phone.
" Have fun. You better join your basketball team! ~Coach." It's the same person... (-_-') He's asking for forgiveness one second and giving me a command the next. I threw my phone into my side bag. I stuffed both my fists into my pockets and walked into the school building.

"Hey, are you interested in any sports, Kylee-kun?" A random student in the class asked.
"I only know little Japenese.." Kylee thought to himself while staring politely at the kid. He decided to go up for the conversation. He can't help if it's about sports.
"I would love to play basketball but the seasons are over, right?" Kylee offered a smile as he said this. Aida looked up in interest.
" Kawaii!" The girls sqealed at his smile.
" What does that mean?" Kylee thought, staring at the girls in amusement.
" Basketball season isn't over. We still have the winter cups. You came from America, right?" Aida asked, remembering that Kagami once said America only had basketball at their schools for a limited time.
"America doesn't have anything to do with this..." Kylee muttered, not understanding the situation.
"I'm the basketball coach, Aida Riko. Nice to meet you." Aida said and went on to drinking her milk. She waited for his stunned face of a girl being a coach but none came.
"I'm Kylee Lee." He held out his hand with a grin. Aida didn't shake but glared at him.
"Wah?! What did I do wrong? I got girl's advice from the coach back home..." Kylee thought nervously.
"I'll allow you to join the team if you show me your skills first." Aida said getting up. Kylee jumped up. "Just enough skills to get you benched would be enough."
"Okay, where's the gym?" Kylee asked excitedly.
" Hmmm, he sure is confident in his own skill..." Aida thought to herself. She checked out his body again. "He's strong too."
---At the gym.
The swoosh of the net was perfect. His body was still in position as his arms were raised still, he smiled at his shot. Aida stood before him gaping at his skills.
"What? What just happen?!" Aida asked grabbing the collar of the boy's shirt and pulling him closer.
"I had studied up on magic and stuff as a kid," Kylee said while rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. It was quite embarrassing.

" Maybe we should let Kagami not play on the same team as Kuroko..." Koganei, the second year who has a cat-like or bunny-like mouth thought out loud. Everyone nodded in agreement, saved for the two spoken about. Every time Kuroko and Kagami team up they would always be in the lead during practice.
Kagami and Kuroko bumped fists as Kuroko wiped the cold sweat forming on the bottom of his chin with his other hand.
"Oi! This is only practice! Stop getting so serious!" The captain of the team, also known as Hyuga yelled punching Kagami over the head.
"That hurt.." muttered Kagami while resting his hand on his head.
Everyone turns their head to the sound of a whistle. It was usually in Aida's hands, so no one wanted to miss it.
"Everyone! Gather up!" Aida yelled. Everyone formed a circle around her. " I want everyone to meet our secret weapon and new teammate who just arrived from America."
Everyone looked around for the new teammate, finding nothing but air and silence.
"Domo," Kylee greeted reading a teal covered book the size of his hand. Everyone had a mini-heart attack, even Kuroko, due to the fact that no one noticed the short teen's sudden appearance.
"He's just like Kuroko." Kagami muttered recovering from his mini heart attack
"Aren't you that new student in class?" Hyuga asked. Kylee ignores the question, quickly scanning a page in his book before looking around.
"Is he Kuroko?" Kylee asked pointing his now closed book at Kuroko.
" He noticed?!" Everyone yelled in awe.
-----
Everyone looked at the shortest boy on the team, who layed lazily on the bench. His white hair that was short but shaggy at the same time, covered part of his eyes. His school uniform which wasn't even correctly on gave him a bad boy appearance, but in reality, he just didn't know how to put it on. His formal running shoes were tied sloppily that he could easily trip on the shoelace. Everyone stares at him in interest.
"A cheerleader?" Izuki asked, his arms crossed in a thinking position.
"Yeah, I just cheer my teammates most of the time rather than playing," Kylee said in thought. "So, Kuroko is the phantom member of this generation of miracles thingy? Kagami is the tiger. Kiyoshi is nickname 'Iron Heart' and known as one of the uncrowned kings. Izuki has the eagle eye. Hyuga is the best at clutch time. Mitobe is a beast at defense and hook shots. Aida-chan is the daughter of a professional trainer. Oh yeah, and Kiyoshi got an injured knee. Did I miss anything?"
"You forgot about us..." The first years, not including Kagami and Kuroko, and Koganei said. Partly in a depressed state.
"You didn't miss much." Kuroko said. His bluntness caused the other to 'die'.
"Now why don't you explain your skills?" Hygua asked.
"You're like Kuroko, right?" Kagami asked.
"Wrong!" Kylee shouts and hand-chops Kagami in the stomach.
"Offph."
"Kuroko's like me. I developed this skill when I was five." Kylee started. "It's the non-presence skill!"
"Mine's not a skill. I was born with it." Kuroko states, causing Kylee to frown.
"But you run out of your non-presence." Kylee said pointing at him.
"I didn't have to work on it." Kuroko said.
"Yeah, but you can't shoot or be hyper and annoying while still not having presence." Kylee argued.
" Okay.." Kuroko muttered thinking how crazy the boy is.
"What about your skills?" Hyuga asked again.
Kylee gets up, grabbing a basketball and dribbling.
"I use to do magic tricks and research how the human eye works for magic tricks so I could somewhat 'disappear'. And I'm really flexible because I dance... Or maybe just because," Kylee explained while dribbling.
"Really?" Kagami asked reaching for the ball. Kylee and the ball then disappeared. "What?!"
Kylee then appeared hanging from the basketball hoop as he raise his other hand steadily to the hoop with the ball to release it slowly. It fell in and bounced for a while before someone spoke.
"How does someone as short as Kuroko dunk?" Kagami asked. Kylee hung like a skeleton in the wind before dropping down. He landed on his feet with his knees bent.
"Whew, I haven't practice running or jumping and whatnot for about a month." Kylee admitted flexing his already red hands.
"That's why you aren't playing but watching until a month." Aida said.
" Hmmmm...Okay." Kylee said and started stretching.
