Nightmare into the future?

I continued walking in the darkness. Ahh, this place has a lonely feeling. I started taking off my coat as the heat picked up. Maybe I should have waited rather than opening the gate with the keys. I threw my coat over my shoulder holding it with two fingers. The keys hanging from a belt loop jingling with each step I made. I have the urge to play basketball now. "Generations of Miracles" flashed into my mind. I wonder... Bright light flashed in front of me, blinding me for minutes and hours until I got use to it. I stood up and noticed another gate. Do I have the key to this gate too? Will it be easier to pass this level? Or should I wait?

The large gates creaked open but not by force. It opened to the boy's weak presence instead of the key he was about to place inside the lock. One hand held the key. The other hand held a navy blue blazer over his shoulder. His face was stunned yet his eyes held surprised awe. Bits of blood stuck to his face and arms to show what his skill was in the world.
"Welcome to the world of basketball." A man came up the boy. The boy placed the keys onto his jeans again. He ran a hand through his white hair. His vivid green eye glowed in the world.
"This is the weirdest dream ever." The boy's eyes wandered.
"What's your name?"
"Kylee. Kylee Lee." The man chuckled.
"Kihlily? Sounds like a girl name." Kylee shook his head but had no intention of correcting the man. " Well, I hope more will come."
The man pointed at the door.
"A level beyond the generation of Miracles. The gate of Basketball. Our level." The man faded.
"And I guess I'm the gatekeeper." The keys jingled one last time before a ten old Kylee woke up suddenly in the middle of the night panting, wondering why he was covered in blood in his dream and why he was so scared. His hand rested over his heart.
"Was that the future?"
