Chapter 10 - The Final Showdown

" It's not perfect but I feel like I'm getting my strength back. " Chase exclaims, standing up on his own without any issues. We been in this cave for a few hours and there is still only me, Chase, Quinn, and Tyler left in the Games. I have no idea how this going to turn out.

" Guys, look. " Quinn walks back into the cave from searching if Tyler is camping nearby. She is holding a note and shows it to Chase and I.

The Games have reached their final tributes. It's time for all of you to go to the Cornucopia to end the show. Happy Supernatural Games and may the odds be ever in your favor. - Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane.

" Alright, guys. Let's go and end this. " Quinn breaks the silence, ripping out her silver bracelet and it unexpectedly turns into a long, sharp sword. I look at Chase and shake my head no. I'm not ready to face Tyler. " Come on. This is our epic chance to kill Wolfie boy or did you forget what he done to Ivan? "

" Let's head out. The person who's exiting out as a victor will be one of us. " Chase says, taking my hand. Quinn leads us out of our cave and we use one pathway to go to the Cornucopia.

Reaching the Cornucopia, Tyler is standing there patiently, armed with Hayley's axe. Fear is shaking through me but I keep a confident face. Quinn stands in front of me and Chase, her eyebrows raised and her sword ready.

" You know this is really cute, right? The Barbie leading the Robotic toys. " Tyler chuckles, causing me to glare at him. " It's lovely seeing you again, Baby Bree. Did ya miss me? "

" Cut the crap, Dog. " Quinn snarls. She runs towards him and throws a kick. Tyler smirks and punches her hard. I superspeed to Tyler to shove him into the side of the Cornucopia.

" Damn, so much sexual tension. Having two women on me, I love it. " Tyler laughs, punching me across the face which makes me land on the ground. His eyes turn gold and his fingernails become long and sharper.

" GET AWAY FROM HER!! " I heard a deep voice. My head turns to the side and notice Chase is no longer Chase. Tyler triggered Chase's commando app which turned him into Spike.

Spike starts attacking Tyler by punching him consistently and throwing him on top of the Cornucopia. Spike jumps all the way up and starts dodging Tyler's punches. Tyler's teeth comes out and aims for Spike's neck to rip out his bionic chip.

I take Quinn's hand and we superspeed on top of the Cornucopia. Quinn does a flip and slices Tyler's head off with her sharp sword. Quinn pushes Tyler's separated head and body off the Cornucopia.

" Wow. Clean shot, blondie. " Spike says gruffly. Slowly, Spike's chest loosens down and he breathes calmly.

" Okay, what did I miss? " Chase asks. Quinn raises an eyebrow and jumps off the Cornucopia onto the ground, both of us following her. The sky turns blue and morning time has arrived.

" Tyler is finally dead. Now, it's just the three of us. " I say. Quinn looks down at her boots and sighs. She walks towards Chase and gives him her sword.

" Finish me off, Smarty pants. " I turn to Quinn and my mouth drops. This is not happening. Not like this. Chase shakes his head no. " Chase, use your bionic ability to put that sword through my heart. I choose you to do the task. "

" Quinn, this isn't the right way to go at all. " Chase puts his hand on her shoulder and tears stream down her face. She takes back her sword and quickly, in the speed of light, puts it through her heart. She tightens it and falls to the ground.

" Quinn! " I yell, letting Chase hold me back. After so many days, it has come to this. Me and Chase are the final two and it'll be impossible to kill each other. " Chase, I won't kill you. "

" I won't kill you. " He says, taking one of my hands and placing berries into it. " Me and you are gonna do this together. " These berries are nightlock and can kill you once you eat it. Chase takes some berries and places it in his hand.

" Together. " I answer. Count of three, we slowly being it towards out mouths.

Stop!!! Stop!! Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm proud to announce the victors of the 74th Supernatural Games! Bree and Chase Davenport!

As music plays, I hug Chase and drop the berries onto the ground. A hovercraft flies by and brings down a ladder. We climb on and once we entered, the hovercraft continued its flight in the sky. We're victors, together.

***** Third Person ******

President Show was angered that the rules has changed. He even sent Seneca Crane to execution for his decision. Back in District 6, the crowd cheered for Chase and Bree's victory. Little does anyone know but only Sierra, these Games will change Panem forever. And it all starts with Bree and Chase.
