jisung was carried back to minho's house and then up to his room. the boy clung to minho tightly, not uttering a word. his mind was far to cluttered right now. how could felix blame chan's death on him? it just didn't seem possible, jisung wouldn't hurt a fly.

minho rearranged some pillows before setting jisung down gently. "hey, turn on something. i have a small surprise for you," he told him with a small smile before handing the boy the remote. he then made his leave, going to his laundry room.

jisung was a bit skeptical, just flipping through channels with the remote. he finally settled on an anime that he had been watching, hoping that this would distract him. hugging his knees, he kept biting his lip to keep calm.

soon minho returned with a cardboard box in his hands, it being closed. this made jisung look up with slight confusion. "what's in the box?.." he asked him while tilting his head a bit. minho smiled as soon as jisung asked.

"why don't you look for yourself?" he asked before sitting the box down on the bed in front of jisung.  the shorter moved, opening the box pretty quickly to cure his curiousity. a small gasp left his lips as three little cats jumped out.

"their name's are soonie, doongie, and dori," minho told him with a small smile. he did his best to keep the cats on the bed. they kept trying to run off like the silly babies they were. soon though, they settled down and began to sniff jisung.

"aw, they are such cuties," jisung said with a smile, already feeling so much better. "i didn't even know you had cats," he added with a small laugh before picking up dori and hugging her close. "she's so soft. i love them."

minho smiled proudly. "me too, they are adorable." he sat down beside jisung before putting an arm around the shorter boy. "just like you," he added before poking jisung's nose gently. he kept a soft smile on his face, admiring jisung.

the younger felt his face get a little flush at that. "i- you're being silly," he said, looking away sheepishly. "but uh.. thanks min min... for everything," he spoke, his voice getting softer with each word.

minho nodded some, glad he wasn't asking about felix's words. he didn't want jisung to know what he had done to chan, he couldn't know. if he even caught on at all, minho would be forced to make decisions he didn't want to. "you're welcome jisung."

jisung was worried about who murdered chan and he was scared. if felix thought he murdered the male, there was no telling who else thought the same. at the same time, his worries seemed pointless. minho was all he needed right now.

"...about what felix said.. you don't think i- i murdered him.. do you?" he asked minho, looking up at him with a small frown. he kept the cats close to him as well, them beginning to nap. "because i didn't and i wouldn't. i'd rather him beat me up!" he whisper shouted.

minho raised his eyebrows slightly at his words. he hadn't been expecting this kind of conversation about felix. he though jisung would jump to conclusions and blame him. this was perfect. "jisung, i know for a fact you wouldn't do that. never think i'd believe him over you."

the younger became teary eyed with the relief he felt from his words. "thank you minho, thank you so much. i was scared people would start blaming me and- what if felix spreads that around? i'm just so worried.." he mumbled before hugging the taller.

"hey, no shh," minho spoke softly before kissing his head and hugging him close. "i won't let that happen, i'll talk to him okay?" he lied smoothly, voice dripping with honey. "i'm sure he is just grieving right now," he told jisung with a small nod.

jisung nodded and bit and wiped his eyes, giving a small smile. "maybe you're right.. thank you minho really. i appreciate you very much," he spoke softly before melting away in his grasp. everything would be okay.. at least for now.
