It was a beautiful Sunday morning, the sun was just rising, casting a gorgeous pink haze across the sky, it was about 6:30 am, so pretty damn early. And zero was woken up by the sound of a baby crying, at this point he was used to this so it wasn't much of a hassle. Zero lazily sat up in his bed and yawned. He walked over to blueberry's crib, stumbling a bit on the way, he looked down at his little crying blueberry. "Oh darling, don't worry, I'm right here." Zero softly whispered as he gentle picked up blueberry and rocked her in his arms. She kept crying though it was a little quieter. Zero happily sighed and walked to his door, quietly opening it so he could make his way down stairs. He was planning to go into the kitchen but as he looked into the living room he saw check doing push ups in his boxers. "Check, what are you doing? It's 6 am." Zero weakly asked. Check looked up and smiled, he stopped doing push ups and got back on his feet "heyyy, I'm just doing my daily work out, I didn't think anyone would be up but I guess I was wrong." Check explained while wiping sweat off of his forehead. "...why are you working out at 6:30 am?" Zero asked. "Eh, I'm not sure really, it's just fun." Check replied. "It sounds painful- I... are your boxers the same colours as the bisexual pride flag?" Zero asked while looking down at checks boxers, trying not to seem weird by staring at his crotch. "Hell yeah dude, pussy is good but dick is also pretty delicious-" zero quickly stopped check in the middle of his sentence "woah woah woah alrighty then, can we not mention those words around blueberry." Zero quickly said. Check covered his mouth and giggled "oh fuck- I mean uh frick, sorry." Check said while nervously rubbing the back of his neck.

"Okay well I'm going to feed blueberry, you can continue whatever you were doing." Zero explained through his drowsiness. "Nah, its alright, I'll make you some coffee if you want." Check replied. "Hm... I think I'll just get myself some chocolate milk." Zero explained while walking to the kitchen. Check shrugged and walked to the kitchen with zero so he could make himself a protein shake, which he in fact didn't need because he was a ghost and material foods and drinks don't affect how he looks at all but he really only drinks them so he can feel better about himself. Zero yawned and opened the fridge to get a bottle of milk for blueberry. zero groaned as the surprisingly bright light of the fridge hit his sensitive eyes. He grabbed one of the pre-prepared bottles of milk from the bottom shelf.
He looked down at little blueberry in his arms as she smiled back up at him and made a weird baby noise. Zero closed the fridge with his foot and walked back into the living room, he sat down in his favourite chair and happily sighed. He proceeded to feed little blueberry the bottled milk, though she did have enough cognitive thought to know that she should grab the bottle herself. She put put little hands around the bottle but zero still lightly held it to make sure she didn't choke. Check soon walked in with his completely unnecessary protein shake.

Check sat down on the couch and slouched back letting out a low sigh. Zero gently pulled the bottle of of blueberry's mouth and set it down on the small table beside him. There was a few moments of calm and comfortable silence before Check noticed something. "Zero," check started "do your pajamas have pink kittens on them?" Zero smiled at Check's question "Oh yes yes, they're so adorable aren't they?" Zero happily replied. Check said nothing and just giggled "are you sure you're not gay?" Check added. Zero's expression dropped a bit "Check, I had a wife for six years. And I'm bisexual, not gay." Zero exclaimed. Check took a sip of his protein shake "--mhm, okay you got me there, but you seem to really like Pren." Check kind of choked on his protein shake while saying that so it sounded a little odd. "Oh come on, we're just close friends silly." Zero giggled. "Yeah but I'm close with Mandin and you don't see me holding her face and telling her I love her." Check replied. Zero froze up and looked at Check "y-you saw that? With me and Pren?" Zero stuttered. "I mean you were only like sixty feet away from the house, I could see you from the window." Check explained. Zero put his face in his hands and blushed "oh my god," Zero suddenly perked his head up from out of his hands "-wait, did you see the arm that fell from the sky then?" After zero said this check gave him a weird look "what arm?-" zero quickly cut check off "never mind. Just don't think about it." Zero spluttered.

There was the sudden sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. Check and Zero looked to see a rough and tired flake walking down the stairs. Flake looked back at them with tired eyes "what are you looking at?" Flake snapped. "You, dumb ass." Check sternly replied. Flake didn't really have a come back so he just rolled his eyes and started walking to the door. "Uh, where do you think are you going?" Zero asked. "I'm going away. Far away. Forever." Flake began, the others didn't respond and just kind of looked at him with equally confused expressions "jesus christ I'm joking, I'm just going out to talk to someone, it'll be fine." Flake explained. "Well... alright just be safe. It's dangerous going outside especially for an elemental." Zero warned. "Don't worry, I know." Flake groaned. It was like zero was trying to be a father to him, even though flakes father did die hundreds of years ago and flake was in fact the one that killed him but that doesn't matter right now. "I'll be back soon, okay?" Flake hastily said. "Okay... just stay safe." Zero added. Flake nodded "I will." He then opened the door and left leaving check and Zero worrying about where he was going. Flake was calmly walking down the street until he soon turned into an alleyway, he continued walking through the alleyways, that seemed more like a maze honestly, until he found the creature he was looking for, though he was curled up in a ball and presumably crying. "Uh, hey Rag, can we talk?" Flake said trying not to seem too scary. Rag quickly snapped his head up and looked at flake "oh no no no, p-p-please don't hurt me!" Rag stuttered. "I'm not gonna hurt you stupid, I just want to talk to you." Flake growled. He took a deep breath so he didn't lash out. "I need to talk to you about werix." Flake said.

"What about werix?" Rag nervously asked. "I know that you two are planning to kill zero's kid and I won't let that happen and if I even see you anywhere near zero I swear I will-" Rag quickly stopped Flake "woah woah woah, I'm not planning to do anything! It's all werix not me!" Rag snapped. Flake was surprised that Rag would actually talk back to him. "Alright alright. I believe you, but if you don't at least try to keep werix away, I will kill you." Flake snarled. Rag felt fear shoot up his spine "o-okay, I'll try. But... since when did you care so much about a baby?" Rag mumbled. "I-I uh I don't, I don't care, why would I? I only care about Zero being happy again." Flake hastily said. "wait, why didn't you just talk to werix about this?" Rag questioned. "Well... she's always around Fenn and I don't think I'm ready to talk to her again." Flake mumbled. Rag wasn't quite sure why he 'wasn't ready to talk to her' and he wanted to ask why but he was worried that flake might actually kill him if he did. So Rag, being very naive, asked why, "Why aren't you ready to talk to her? Did something happen?" Flake groaned at Rag's question, "Well for a while me and Fenn were in a relationship I guess... and things just didn't work out." After flake explained this he started remembering all the things that had happened between them. "Oh..." Rag didn't exactly know what to say since he never thought such a sweetheart like Fenn would even talk to someone like Flake, then again she does have Werix for a sister. "Alright, I've said enough. See you later, Rag." Flake said before turning around and making his way out of the alley. Rag didn't expect such a kind goodbye and he hadn't even been hurt so this was an oddly nice conversation for him. "Bye Flake..." Rag muttered.
