The next morning, Kozik was dozing in the chair beside Connie's bed when he heard the door to her room open, showing Chibs and Russ as they walked in.

"Mornin' lad. How's she doin' this mornin'?"

Koz shrugged before stretching his back and yawning. "Okay, I guess. She's still asleep." He quirked a brow at his son. "Why aren't you in school?"

Russ grinned and shrugged. "Evie said that we could take the day off if we wanted since yesterday was hella stressful. Kylie and Kenny are downstairs getting you something to eat."

Koz nodded as another short knock came before a woman in exercise clothing popped her head in. Kozik and Chibs both stopped short to stare at the woman in shock as she smiled and walked fully into the room. The woman looked at the tablet in her hands then at the three men.

"Are one of you Herman Kozik? Dr. Knowles put him down as Constance's contact."

Koz nodded as he stared at the woman that could literally be Jessie's twin, right down to hair and eye colors. "Yeah, that's me."

The woman smiled and stuck out a hand to shake his. "Wonderful! I'm Allison Weaver, and I'll be Ms. Kramer's physical therapist. I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. As soon as she's able, we'll start getting her on the road to recovery." When they all continued to stare at her, she frowned slightly. "Is something wrong?"

Russ was the first to speak but he did nothing to clear up her confusion. "You look exactly like Aunt Jessie."

Allison shook her head. "I don't know who that is, but alright."

Chibs stepped forward and gave her a grin. "Jessie's my old lady, and darlin', the lad's right. Ye are her double."

Allison gave him a small smile as she chuckled. "Well, they do say everyone has a twin." She looked at her watch and clicked her tongue. "Oh my! I'm late for Mr. Furlong! You all have a wonderful day. Blessed be."

As she breezed back out of the room, Russ started chuckling. When the other two men looked at him in question, he shrugged. "She acts like Aunt Jessie too."

Later, back at the clubhouse, Jessie was looking at Chibs like he was an idiot as he described what had happened at the hospital earlier that morning. Finally, she shook her head. "I think you've finally lost your mind. Don't you think I'd know if I had a twin?"

Pru shook her head from her seat beside Tig. "Not necessarily, Jess."

Tara walked in as Jessie snorted. "Well, I'm here to tell you that there is no way God made two of me."

Tara frowned as she sat next to Jax. "What are we talking about?"

Prudence handed her a beer from the center of the table. "Connie's physical therapist. Chibs and Russ say that she's a carbon copy of Jessie."

Tara shrugged. "I don't know, I haven't met her yet. I think she's new at St. Thomas." She frowned in concentration for a moment. "Allison something."

Jessie felt a shiver run down her spine but shook her head, not noticing the thoughtful look Chibs was giving her. "I don't know who that is. Can we drop the subject now?"

Chibs grinned at her and leaned in to kiss her, looking over her shoulder as he did. Juice saw his look and nodded, opening up his laptop and clicking keys. Chibs didn't believe in coincidences. He wanted to know just who Allison Weaver was.

Piney shook his head as Joan gave the nurse a hard time about seeing the doctor. She'd been a mess since she woke to find out what had happened with Connie, and they were having a hard time keeping her in her bed.

"I really don't see why the doctor can't come and check me out so I can be discharged. For heaven's sake, I feel fine! It was just a little bump on the head."

Piney sighed as the nurse stammered something about the doctor before practically running from the room. "Joanie, you need to stop giving these girls a hard time. The doc will be around when he gets time."

Joan scoffed as she fidgeted with the blankets. "You wouldn't be saying that if it was your boy or one of the others that were shot."

Piney grinned and nodded. "You're right, I wouldn't, but Connie isn't even awake yet. Koz said that he would let you know as soon as she was. Now, you need to calm down or they won't release you."

Joan sighed and nodded. "I know, but... I just feel so helpless lying here. If I could just see her for myself, it would be different."

Piney nodded as he took her hand and squeezed it. "I understand that sweetheart, but she isn't alone. She hasn't been since she got here and won't be while she's laid up." He grinned at her and winked. "You gonna let an old dog take you out on a date when you get out of here?"

He wouldn't admit it but he thought she was adorable when she blushed slightly and ran a hand through her hair. "Well, I don't see any old dogs around. Do you know of any?"

Piney chuckled and nodded. "Good answer."
