Chanyeol's POV
"So, goodbye..." I waved to my so called fiancée as she went inside their car. Her personal driver, Leon, closed the door without letting me finish my sentence.
Mom pats my back and leads me to my car. I wonder how does it feel when you're married, having kids and all.
I shiver thinking of the thoughts. All I think is that if my fiancée is so rude like her, then my life will be a living hell.
I went back into the restaurant and sat on the comfy couch. "Chanyeol!" I herd mom's voice coming from the lobby. Hate to break it but, I don't want to stand up.
"Coming!"
Naeun's POV
NO! I can't believe my father would so something stupid like that! Seriously?! I am marrying a derp like him–Chanyeol? Ugh, if there's anyway that I could get rid of him them I would do it.
But on the other hand, he was, well,... sweet. He let me take a short nap on his shoulders and let me listen to music, even though I didn't hear it.
Hmm, if our wedding would be the next, next day, then I should get ready and be beautiful! I don't want to look horrible in front of the magazine! I'm pretty sure there would be a lot of photographers and interviews there for me and my fiancee has indeed a showbiz life on business.
We passed by this jewelry shop. As usual, I am their model, for we own that store. I asked Leon to stop the car and I went inside the building. The manager greeted me as well as the sales lady.
I checked the whole place just to sure it was neat and tidy, well operated, lights not too bright and workers do work. I shrug as the manager went near me.
"Ma'am, would you like something to drink?" she asked in her most pleasing voice.
Well, I know what she is doing. She is persuading me,.letting me feel that I am really the one, which I really am. Workers do this all the time. I memorize their every single move.
I look at her. "If its just a bottled water then keep it," I bob my head once and fold my arms in front of me. "And if it's champagne then give me the whole bottle."
She laughs nervously. Oh I knew it, it was just a cheap bottle of water. How I wish she just keep it to her self.
The manager walked away from me. Embarrassed. I don't care! Its not my fault that she's a boot liker and it makes me sick.
"Leon, take a picture of this ring," I point on the shiniest diamond seventeen karat ring from the display. "Send it to Chanyeol. Tell him that I want this wedding ring."
I hand Leon my phone. "Will do ma'am," He walk near the glass displays and take a picture of the ring with a good angle. He bowed as he hand me back my phone.
"Off we go,"
I quickly walk forward but Leon reached for me to open the door. I didn't thank him but continue walking. He opened the right side door of the car and let me come in.
"I shall take you home now ma'am,"
I nod and stare outside the busy street.
I can't believe that I'm getting married tomorrow but not with the man who loves me as much as I love him.
Chanyeol's POV
I decided to walk by the play park. The sun had gone down. The park was empty. I sat on the near by bench near the river.
Oh why, oh why? Why does it need to be her? I'm no match with that brat! She's all geeky and I'm a dick.
I remove my hat and comb my hair down using my fingers. This red cap reminded me of my father who already died. Too bad I didn't much memories about him.
There is a saying on the cap and it says, 'Dream big and fulfill your dreams'. It's written in a small font and italicized. I place it beside me and lean my back on the cold wooden bench.
"Ugh!" I bury my face with my hands. I'm too handsome for her! She's just wearing make up that's all, no biggie. "I hate you Dad!"
My dad doesn't want to make me happy that's why he did this and I hate it so darn much.
There was this gust of wind that made my face tingled. My phone buzzed inside my pocket.
Groggily sliding my hand on my phone while wearing the red cap, I unlocked the code and there's this text message from an unregistered number.
And what's written on the SMS made me want to puke.
Chanyeol, my fiancée, I know that you're now looking for a ring. Here is what I want. Don't buy something cheap. For I will not wear it even during our wedding day.
Naeun
There's a picture attached and it made me want to puke blood. A seventeen karat diamond ring that costs 8,880,888 Korean won. What the hell?
No, I will never, ever buy that ring for her. It's way, way too expensive!
I can't imagine that I'm getting married tomorrow but not with the girl who loves me as much as I love her.
