to the courageous traveler about to tread my earth,
please be prepared to swim in my oceans,
to drown in my tears and still taste the saltiness in your lips weeks after the dive,
to find rotting bones and decaying wrecks on the pit of my sea—they were not there to haunt you,
but to scare bigger monsters away.please be wary as you wander across my land,
to always be on the lookout for jagged rocks on the surface—they were never meant to cut you,
but to protect myself from apathetic colonizers in case they attempt to leave me in ruins.please forgive the winds for their strength,
for seemingly sabotaging your flight—I don't want you to leave just yet,
come stay with me for a while.please forgive my winds for their pent-up anger,
they also get hurt—at night, you'll hear their howls and cries of despair,
they want you to listen.
