The rake is a mythological creature known to instantly kill its victims here is one persons supposed encounter.
In the middle of the night a man and his wife heard a creak at the foot of a bed they both woke up only to see what they described as a half human half hairless dog facing away from them. It then simultaneously sprang in front of the husbands face and then jumped towards their daughters room they ran and found their daughters mangled body on the floor with dying words being"He is the rake." There is debate on what the rake looks like but seeing as it may not be real that's alright.
