It's been about a month since Draco and Hadrian got together, which meant it was now the first day of school and Hadrian's first day at his new school. Draco and Hadrian decided not to walk to school together for the first day so they don't attract as much attention. Since Hadrian was technically famous, he wore a hoodie, dark sunglasses and jeans. Of course, Hadrian would reveal himself later in the day but he at least wanted to get to school without a crowd of fans.
Surprisingly, When Hadrian walked into the school he seemed to be roughly one of the tallest kids there. Hadrian wasn't a tall kid, to begin with, but it seemed as though this school only hosted people with short and average height. Vertic Landing Secondary School was pretty standard and normal, it seemed. Hadrian received some odd looks but most didn't even bother to glance his way. Once he got to his classroom, the teacher, Mrs. Noyanberry, took him aside and told him that he was gonna be introduced to the class and he'd have to take his hoodie and sunglasses off. Hadrian nodded and stood to wait at the front of the class.
The teacher stood beside her desk as the students walked in and took their spots. "Hello class this year we have a special student with us today and I'm sure most of you know him from somewhere else but please treat him as you treat others." Mrs. Noyanberry said after she had everyone's attention. she got a few absent-minded nods and looks of confusion in return, begging her to go on. "Please welcome our first celebrity here at Vertic Landing Secondary School, Hadrian Riddle!" Hadrian smiled at everyone and waved as some gasped and others turned their full attention to him.
Mrs. Noyanberry coughed and looked at Hadrian, making Hadrian remember he was supposed to take his hoodie and sunglasses off. "Oh, right!" Hadrian said before he pocketed his sunglasses and lowered his hoodie. Now the class was really staring at him. He blushed a bit, rubbed the back of his neck and said, "Don't stare at me like that it makes me uncomfortable. I'm just another human being at this school, k?" The class nodded and turned their attention elsewhere as the first class of the day began.
The class went overall pretty normal, it was passing period when the shit really went down. Hadrian walked out of his class, talking to this girl he sat beside. The girl told him she really didn't care if he was famous and that famous people where just people that get more recognition for their talents than others. The girl was a short, brown girl with long, fluffy and really curly dark brown hair, freckles and large, sharp honey brown eyes. She wore her hair half up in space buns and the rest down. She told him her name was Hermione Granger.
Nobody noticed Hadrian at first until Hermione told him the funniest story about her puppy, Boo, who was the cutest and clumsiest thing ever to walk the earth. Harry laughed out loud freely, but since passing period was unusually quiet at this school, his angelic laugh attracted the attention of almost everyone in the main hall. Hadrian shut his mouth quickly and smiled nervously as he mentally prepared himself. All at once, people started to whisper. Most people knew him, others were uninformed, but soon the whole hall was gossiping.
Then, the girl that must be the queen bee with her minions, strutted up to him. She had a fake tan, ice blue eyes, and straight blond hair. Classic. Harry smiled nervously, an almost invisible bead of sweat rolling down his cheek. He knew what was going to happen now. The girl's nasty judge-y expression vanished and a kind smile replaced it. "I'm Geri." She told him. "Hadrian." Harry smiled. He wasn't expecting this.
"Sorry if I scared you a bit I do that to ton of new people here. Not every high school's like the dumb ass drama movies. We're all just a bunch of normal teens crowded in one place." Geri continued. "It's alright, really caught me off guard there." Hadrian replied. "So, is it true you're Hadrian Riddle? I didn't know about you until my friend Mari-" Geri pointed to the short and girly black-haired girl with pale skin and even paler green eyes, "-told me who you were. Pretty famous to be venturing around a normal high school like Vertic Landing. Honestly I would have expected you to go to a more prestigious school like Saint Joena!"
Hadrian could tell Geri was sorta like the gossip girl. The girl that can't keep secrets but gets all the dirty details first. "Well here I am." Hadrian simply replied with a still slightly nervous smile. If Geri was the gossip girl than he didn't want to be around her too much. His secrets would be exposed in a matter of seconds. He wasn't so great at hiding the fact he was abused as a child and the white scars on his tan back didn't help. Geri then pushed the two girls behind her forward. "These are Mari-" she pointed to the girl with the short black hair again, "-and Lanny." she pointed to other girl, a tall female with light brown hair, blond highlights and dark eyes. "They really wanted to meet you! They're such big fans! Also, Mari was wondering if you would start a YouTube channel or release merchandise anytime soon!"
"Geri!" The two girls blushed as they yelled their friend's name in unison in a reprimanding way. "Oops!" Geri blushed as well. "I'm sorry, but we're in the presence of a celebrity! I can't hush!" As they were all talking, everyone had slowly started to gather around Hadrian, who backed up onto his locker. All at once, pens, papers, hats, hands and sweater were thrown on him. He signed every paper and article of clothing while continuing to listen to Geri, quickly so everyone would back away. Once he was down he looked around for his lovely boyfriend. He couldn't find Draco at all until he heard his voice beside him. "Looking for me?" Hadrian turned to see his beautiful boyfriend leaned against the locker beside him, smirking with an eyebrow raised.
Hadrian laughed and hugged him. "You know me so well!" This, obviously was unexpected as the crowd went silent, and a wave of shock ran over them. Geri looked at the two as they separated and asked, "uhm, how do you two know each other?" "We're neighbours and-" Draco stopped himself before swallowing at the close call and continuing, "friends." Hadrian laughed lightly, looked at his boyfriend and said, "it's fine Draco, they'd have to find out some day anyway."
The crowd gathered showed their confusion as they turned to whoever was beside them and whispered. Hadrian grinned as he glanced at the crowd for the last time before pinning his boyfriend against his locker and kissing him. Geri, who was still whispering to her friend Mari, hadn't noticed anything was happening until Mari was staring, mouth open, at the couple that was now making out against a locker. Geri turned, and her eyes immediately bulged out of her head, her jaw flying down to meet the ground.
"WAIT- YOU'RE GAY!?"
