It was a fairly normal sunny morning at Vertic Landing Secondary School. Keyword, 'was'. It was lunch time so everyone loudly made their way to the cafeteria. Hadrian, Draco and their friends all sat at a table near the middle together.

There was Hadrian, Draco and Hermione, and then there was this bright ginger-haired boy with millions of freckles and bright blue eyes named Ron. Then there was a pretty dark skinned girl with full lips and shiny black hair named Parvati. Then there was a pale girl with a jet black bob cut and sharp hickory eyes and dark makeup named Pansy. There was a fairly tall Italian boy with soft features, a square jawline and dark brown eyes named Blaise and then there were two twin boys, with green eyes and brown hair, triangle jaws and kind expressions, their names were Vincent and Gregory. Or as they liked to be called, Vince and Greg.

The group of them sat, talked and ate like they normally would. That was, until the doors to the cafeteria were flung open. An incredibly short girl with long blond hair styled into two French braids and light blue eyes. The girl looked around the hall before her eyes landed on Hadrian. "HARBEAR!" She yelled as she rushed to Hadrian and jumped on him. Hadrian and the chair he was sitting on along with the girl fell to the floor with a clang. The whole school was watching them now. The girl stood up and so did Hadrian. The girl hugged Hadrian tight and said "Ugh you have no clue how much I missed you! After you moved you couldn't visit me anymore so I convinced my adoptive parents to move here!" The girl kissed Harry on the cheek then.

Hadrian laughed lightly and hugged the girl back. "Hi Lyla. It's good to see you again." They turned to Hadrian's friends and Hadrian began to tell them about Lyla. The school seemed to have lost interest by now as they had turned back to their food. Draco has a look of jealousy on his face and he glared at Lyla, who was hanging off his boyfriend. Not her's, his. "Gosh, what's with him!?" Lyla asked as she noticed Draco. Hadrian, like a true expert, knew exactly what was going on. But before he could say anything Draco spoke up in a voice so cruel and icy the group had no idea how the school hadn't frozen over.

"Don't. Kiss. Or. Cling. To. My. Boyfriend."

Lyla put her hands in the air like she was being told to by a cop and sat down. Hadrian laughed and walked over to Draco before swooping down and giving him a kiss. Hadrian sat down beside his boyfriend, rested his head on Draco's shoulder and said, "You know I could never let that happen, my love." Draco seemed to physically deflate as he fell into his Hadrian and let Hadrian hug him. They went back to eating after that, and nobody ever noticed they were holding hands under the table. That is, except Lyla. Nobody saw, nobody cared and nobody hated Hadrian and Draco's relationship. Nobody, except Lyla. Lyla saw, Lyla cared and Lyla hated their relationship. It was sad that Hadrian had no idea how much she wanted Hadrian to be hers.

The rest of the day went smoothly, though Draco and Lyla were constantly glaring at each other. In front of Lyla, Draco made sure to flex on her. He'd cling to Hadrian's arm and rest his head on his shoulder as the whole group talked about something, while staring straight into the eyes of Lyla. He's even smirk sometimes and half press his face into Hadrian's neck. Poor oblivious Hadrian just smiled, turned his head to the side, kissed Draco's head and wrapped his arm around his boyfriend before turning back to his friends. To be honest, Draco was only acting this clinging to Hadrian this much to make sure Lyla knew Hadrian was his and break her heart in the process. To be frank, it was working, everyday Lyla came home she went up to her room and cried a bit. She had known Hadrian before Draco and they had been best friends since they were little kids. Why didn't Hadrian love her?

Not gonna lie, as much as Lyla cried, she couldn't bring herself to care all that much. Everyday after she cried, she stood up, went downstairs for dinner and thought to herself, 'Am I sure I like Harbear or am I just jealous because I know he won't be spending as much time as me now because he has that Malfoy kid?' For the life of her she couldn't figure that simple question out until she met him. I mean, she knew him before, but now she really met him. One day they both stayed behind to clean up the library, Lyla and Vince.

They talked for a while and Lyla finally knew the answer to her question. She was just jealous, and the one she really loved was right in front of her the whole time. She liked Vince, not Hadrian. Instead of going home and crying everyday, she went home and called Vince, hung out with her adoptive siblings and watched TV before she went down to eat dinner. Her eyes saw it all clearer now. She was looking in the wrong direction the whole time. At least now she wouldn't get in the way of anything already happening.
