A New Discovery

A/N Just so you guys know most of the chapters that I post after my break from writing will be pre-written. Once I finish this and the truth behind the curse I will be starting the sequels and I have a new book that I'm in the process of writing that I will start posting too once I've finished writing it. Anyway! enough rambling on to chapter 8.
(When ever something is written like 'this' it means that the person who's POV it is is thinking it)

Ian POV (We start with Ian)

I sat by the door of the house thinking about my dream. It seemed like such a real dream as well. I still don't know who either of the men were or who the girl they were talking about was, hopefully I wouldn't find out, but I had a weird feeling that that wasn't an ordinary dream.

I sighed shifting my position so I could look out the window the sun was still quite high in the sky, just past the middle so I knew I had a while to wait till the others go back. I headed toward our supply chest and started looking through it I found the supplies I needed and got to work.

If we found a way out or if we had to keep search we were going to need a lot of food, weapons and armour and since I had nothing better to do I decided to make/collect some. I heard what sounded like whistling but dismissed it as the wind and continued working.

Jason POV (Back to Jason)

I looked down at the ravine seeing all the minerals we could get a swell as the supplies we could find in the abandoned mine-shaft. I was deliberating wether we should go down or not when Quentin let out a yell and tackled me off the edge. As we fell I glared at Quentin trying to find my voice.

Luckily, we landed in some water otherwise we would have been dead meat. "What the hell did you do that for!" I yelled at Quentin he pointed up and I saw the area where we had been standing explode, the blocks flying everywhere. "Oh, next time just tell me instead of tackling me off the cliff." I said to Quentin and stopping the glare I was sending him.

"Sorry, Jason, there wasn't enough time to say anything, and we still don't know what happens if we die here!" Quentin replied quickly as we climbed out of the water. "Well at least we can get some of the minerals here before we have to head back." I said before heading over to get some nearby Iron.

I looked over and saw Quentin getting some coal and making a crafting table and furnace for us to use. I shot him a grateful smile before moving over to get some more Iron an then heading back to the crafting table and furnace to smelt the Iron and make a Iron pickaxe and A bucket.

I quickly collected some water in the bucket and left the rest of my Iron smelting as Quentin collected some more Iron. I made my way towards the Diamonds and started to mine the first one with my Iron pickaxe I was happy when the block broke to see that their were several more Diamond blocks behind it. I set off mining them trying to collect them before the sun set.

Ty POV (and on to Ty)

I sighed as Adam and I continued to make our way through the mountains. 'I hate lying to my friends' I thought to myself as we walked. 'But I have to do what HE says, for Katie, I don't want her to get hurt.' I sighed again before something caught my eye. "Hey Adam I think there is something over there!" I said gesturing toward the mysterious object that had caught my eye.

Adam looked over and saw the thing too so we rushed over to find out what it was. I reached it first and picked it up. I turned it over in my hand studying it. "What is it?" Adam asked as I stared down at the object in my hand. "It's a Key!" I whispered just loud enough for Adam to hear.

"A Key? Why is their a key out here?" He asked looked at the Key with a puzzled look on his face. I flipped it over again and notice that their was something carved into it. I rubbed the dirt off and saw that it was two letters. E.G.

"Adam, take a look at this." I said handing him the Key and pointing to the letters. " E.G? What does that mean?" He asked glancing at me. "It could be initials but I don't know anyone with those initials." I replied searching my brain. "Me either maybe the other will know someone?" he suggested. I nodded taking the Key back and slipping it into my inventory.

Jerome POV

Mitch has been acting weird since we saw that symbol on the tree. Every time there is a sound he keeps glancing around as if something is gonna jump out and attack us. "Mitch are you sure your ok dude?" I asked glancing over at him.

"I'm fine Jerome I just can't shake the feeling that were being watched." He replied looking around nervously again. "Look Mitch maybe we should head back the sun will be going down soon and the others might have found something." I said pointing back the way we came.

"Yeah maybe we should head back" Mitch agreed before we started to make our way back to camp.

Adam POV

"Ty, I think we better head back. It's gonna be dark soon. We don't wanna be ambushed by Zombies or other creatures." I announced walking over to Ty."Your right we should go." Ty said turning round.

"Do you still have the Key?" I asked Ty. "Yeah I've still got it." He replied pulling the Key out of his pocket. "Alright let's go!" I announced. And we headed off back through the forest to camp.

Quentin POV

"Jason!" I yelled hoping he could hear me from where he stood on the other side of the ravine. "What!" he yelled back. "We should get going!" I yelled over again. "Alright I'm on my way!" He exclaimed. I quickly mined the furnace and picked up the crafting table putting them both in my inventory as Jason walked round the corner.

"Dude, did you think about how we would get back up when you knocked us both of the cliff?" He asked me as he pointed up to the top of the ravine. "Well I guess we better start building up!" I replied grabbing some cobblestone from my Inventory and starting to build up.

Jason rolled his eyes but started to build up next to me. We finally reached the top of the ravine an built our way across. We got to the top and started to head back to camp.
