Specs pov.

I swear I saw goggles walk into school but I haven't seen him in any of the three classes we're both in. I pass by bobbles and headphones near the lockers. "Hey you two, ready to head home." "Hey specs" bobbles said, "yeah" headphones replied sounding eager to leave. "Ok let's be on our way then" I said.
The three of us were talking about our day until I remembered I hadn't seen goggles at all. "Hey have you two seen goggles today?"
" No I haven't..." bobbles said.
"Now that I think about it I haven't either." Headphones paused a bit, "It's weird. Usually he'd text us if he were sick or something." Headphones murmured.
The three of us were theorizing what could've happened when I spot him.
"Goggles!" I shout
He turns around, waves at me, and taps someone with unique yellow tentacles. Could be emperor or prince- "Hey Specs" Prince chirped. Goggles just smiled widely as usual. Lately, I noticed goggles was being a little off. I couldn't pin point it exactly but the color in his eyes seemed more dull. After some small talk, we began to walk home together.

Goggles pov
I was really happy about seeing my team. It didn't occur to me that I hadn't seen them all day! I was joking around until I heard bobble hat and headphones whispering to each other. "*giggles* I'm pretty sure prince and goggles like each other." I heard bobble say. I turned my head a bit to look at prince and blushed. Did I like him? Haha no we were just friends.
Everything was peachy until I bumped shoulders with someone," Ow watch it buddy- oh it's you." Gloves said practically spitting out venom.
"Sorry" I mumbled. I looked down at my feet. "Hey goggles are you alright?" Specs had asked, "what's up with you and gloves?" "O-oh it's nothing." I lied. Prince glared at me and I felt obligated to tell the truth but I couldn't.

Princes pov

Goggles had lied about him and gloves. Argh! It makes me so mad that some trashy inkling like gloves could make such a cheerful one hide away like that.
We arrived at my home and I suddenly got an idea. "Hey goggs." "Yeah?" He asked. "Would it be ok if you came over to my place for a bit?" "Huh? O-oh sure." He looked at his teammates and they smiled.
"Well I guess this is our stop then!" He exclaimed.
We entered passed the gate and garden and into the large estate emperor and I shared with our team. When we reached the inside goggles's eyes widened," Woah prince! Your house is huge!" He gasped. I awkwardly smiled and rubbed my head, "heh thanks." Before passing the kitchen I asked him if he wanted a snack but he reassured me that he ate some pickled plums sometime on our journey. I then led him to my bedroom.
Hmm, it's a bit weird for emperor to not be home by now. I was a bit curious as to where he could be but brushed the thought away," so why'd ya invite me over?" Goggles asked sitting on my bed next to me kicking his feet. "Well you know how gloves has been acting super uncool lately towards you?" I questioned. Goggles face became unreadable and he responded with a simple yeah. "Well I feel that it's time for the both of us to get him back." Goggles just stared at me, "wow prince, that seems like something your brother would've said!" I rolled my eyes and began to strategize how we could do this.
