Interruptions, Livid, and Clueless

Kayla's  POV

Its been two weeks since the kiss, but nothing has changed were the same old James and Kayla laughing, talking and playing around like nothing even happened to be quite honest I don't know if I want anything to happen all of the girls at our school always had a thing for him even Lydia one time until her and Nick hit it off but I just couldn't he bullied me practically all my life and I'm expected to fall at his feet heck no, I wish I knew what he wanted though then I could get a clearer perspective of things and his point of view right now were laying at the park eating truffles and playing twenty questions

"Ok umm.... Whats your favorite breakfast food?"

"Easy steak and eggs, girl why you so obsessed with me?" He says, What in the world is he serious he's singing Mariah Carey that's funny I laugh so hard tears start at the surface of my eyes

"That's *laugh* fun..nnyy"

He frowns

"I'm serious" he says in a straight face frowning and looking down awkwardly is this for real my laughter begins to sober up and I stare at him in awe and confusion what is happening

"Ww...hat...?"

Then he burst out laughing what is going on

"Babe I'm kidding, you thought I was serious" his laughter sobers up and I think its about that time for the talk seeing as though we have been avoiding the talk for weeks now I need to know where we stand how he feels and I need to decide my feelings for him did he do it In the heat of the moment, or maybe just to get a reaction out of me, why did this cocky arrogant jerk James Alexander Tate kiss me why?

"Uhh James we need to ta..." I'm interrupted by a hot guy with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes that look like the ocean he's tan and I think I would go for someone like him even though I prefer guys with...... Nevermind that thought

"Hi I was wondering if any of you know where the mall is from here I'm new in town and I'm kind of lost?"

James speaks up first "sorry dude where new here too"

I speak "maybe if you have a GPS or something"

"thanks for the advice I'm Chase by the way, and who might you be?" He says with  flirty look in his eyes and smirk

"I'm Kayla and this is James"

"Oh cool, so are you guys like dating or something?"

"No" "yes" me and James say at the same time why is he telling this guy were dating cause we are totally not

"Were not dating" I say

He frowns then smirks again I thought only James could pull that off

"Oh well would you mind going out with me you know to explore New York together that would be fun right, how long have you been here?"

I don't know what to say I'm frozen, he's asking me out I look over at james and notice his jaw is clenched and his fist are balled to his side we set is it definitely need to talk

Its been an hour since the park and thinking about that stupid guy who asked her out makes me livid and she seemed interested which makes me even more livid we are sitting on the couch watching a movie currently on the couch

"Pass the popcorn, popcorn hogger"

"Jeez calm your self woman"

I push her the popcorn

"Thank you"

She grins that beautiful smile of hers

We are watching Clueless her favorite movie its OK but I prefer action movies she likes them to but she thinks clueless beats all movies, I frown thinking of the last time we 'watched a movie together'

"I have a question for you babes?"

She rolls her eyes

"Don't call me that and how may I grace you with more knowledge from my brain to your pea sized one?"

I ignore her smart as* comment that was funny though I chuckle lightly and then prepare myself for the joke I've been dying to see her reaction to

"Umm.. If I flip a coin what are the chances that I will get head?"

She looks at me with a what the fuc* look and then a confused one until she finally gets what I was saying then she laughs loudly

"That was better than your last one but you could still use help" she chuckles

"Aww

The movie credits for clueless rolls in and I yawn I'm very tired

"Kay babes I think I'm gonna head home Ok"

"Awww" she pouts

"Babes whats wrong?" I ask confused and sad now

"Please stay I'll even let you have the bed"

"Oh so now you want me in bed now?" I chuckle

"No I mean you can take the bed I will get the sleeping bag my bed is hard as a rock I prefer the floor anyways because of that reason"

"And what makes you think I want to sleep on your rock hard bed?"

"Urgg James please and plus we need to talk anyway?"

Uh oh its the talk I have been avoiding well at least I hope its not I bet it is I decide yes because I want to stay with her and I want to know more about this talk even though I am pretty sure I know what it is about

"Fine"

I scoop her up bridal style and began to carry her upstairs to her room and she does not protest she just lays on my chest and closes her eyes she's Clueless about the way I feel about her, when we get to her room I sit her on the bed she just crawls into the covers and shuts her eyes, I take off my short and change into some basketball shorts I left over here and yes I changed in the bathroom when I get out I climb in bed with her and she lays on my chest Kayla Lauren Lockwood you drive me crazy and then im out like a light
