I held you close,
The world collapsed,
As if our shoulders could carry all the weight,
We stood proud,
Sparkling,
Shining in a world full of emptiness,
Loving,
Embracing in a meaningless world,
Kind,
Caring in a world full of alienation,
We stood proud,
Like the night sky above us,
Pure,
Endless,
Little shooting stars,
Passing through the darkness,
We are,
Temporary,
"Who cares"
