Chapter 9

I woke up the next morning with a huge smile on my face. Last night was probably the bestest night of my entire existence. I went on a double date with my best friend and 2/4 members of hwe, AND I shared my first kiss with Freaking. Tyler. Wilson.

Feeling refreshed and awake, I decided to go take a shower. After getting out, I towel-dried my hair and got changed into red skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, and a navy sweater cardigan. After curling my hair and putting on a navy beanie, I got a text from Amanda:

Hey! Wanna meet up for coffee? :)

Someone's cheerful this morning. I thought as I read the message. She's never this happy at this time in the morning. Ever.

Hey! Yeah sure! Meet you in 5 minutes.

I slipped on my sequenced blue and white striped sneakers, grabbed my car keys, and walked out the door. I got into my Volkswagen convertible and buckled my seat belt. I texted my parents to let them know that I was going out so they wouldn't worry.

In no time I got to Starbucks. I walked in and immediately saw Amanda at a table. I walked over and sat down and Amanda looked really happy, and i mean really happy.

"Hey!" I said. All she did was smile like a psychopath "Someone's happy this morning." I said, clearly seeing that she was happy about something. In an instant I knew exactly why she was so happy.

"Let me guess, you had a fun date last night?" I asked even though it was obvious she did. 

At that moment, she told me about how her date went. I was honestly so happy that she had fun, she had never smiled this much and it made me feel better that she was happy.

After she caught her breathe from talking so much, she asked "sooo, how did your date go?". I instantly smiled and told her everything, even the kiss. She was happy for me too. Today is just a happy day, huh?

After talking about the guys more, we finished our coffee and left Starbucks. Amanda left and I went back to the car. Before I could do anything, I got a text from Tyler.

Hey, wanna hang out tonight?

Once again, I smiled. The things this boy does to me is crazy I thought to myself as I answered him.

Sure! See you soon! :) xoxo

I started the car and pulled away from Starbucks, then going the direction of the boy's house.
