"Oh God," he thought,"I'm having another one of these blasted dreams."Like Wendy, Hook had also been having dreams very similar to Wendy's yet lately they had changed drastically.
Hook stood on the Jolly Rodger overlooking the plank. His crew stood all around him cheering him on. There stood 12 year old Wendy on the edge of the plank, blindfolded and still wearing her nightdress and about to plunge into the blue depths below.
Hook stomped his foot on the plank making it wobble causing Wendy to gasp in fright. Yet when he looked again a woman appeared on the edge of the plank also wearing a night dress yet no blindfold. Her blue eyes rimmed with tears. Upon seeing her eyes he knew at once that the woman was Wendy.
"Please," she begged,"Please, James. Don't make me do this."
Hook's face held no emotion but on the inside a war was being fought. Her cheeks were wet from her tears.
"I came with you because I trusted you," she sobbed,"I came with you because I.... Because I lo.."
Wendy screamed as Smee, who stood alongside Hook, stomped on the plank. She fought to keep her balance but to no avail. Wendy plunged into the water below.
Hook was fuming, his emotions raging like a wild fire. Hook lunged at Smee and plunged his poisened hook into his heart rendering Smee dead.
Before Hook realised what he was doing he shed his heavy coat, hat and sword, kicked off his leather boots and proceeded to dive into the sea after her.
The last thing he felt was the ice cold water enveloping him..

Hook woke up with a start and was drenched in a cold sweat. His red sheets had fallen to the floor. He wiped the sweat from his brow with his left hand. He grabbed his right wrist. It was throbbing with pain. He shut his eyes and focused on the rocking of the ship. The pain seemed to ease slightly. Then, a loud knock sounded at the door.
"Smee," he grumbled to himself. Hook was still fuming from his dream.
Smee didn't even wait for an answer from his captain, instead he waltzed into the cabin carrying a tray of breakfast.
"Good mornin', Cap'ain!" Smee yelled. "Brought ya some good ol' breakfast. Thought ya might be a bit 'ungry."
Hook pulled a pillow over his head and grumbled," Get out, Smee."
Smee's smile faded,"Sorry, Cap'ain? Don'tcha wanna talk about the next mission?"
"Get out"
"But Cap'ain.."
"GET OUT!!!!!" Hook yelled throwing his pillow at Smee causing him to drop the tray on Hook's desk and sprint out the door.
Eventually Hook hauled himself out of his bed and stood by the window.
Hook's cabin consisted of a wardrobe to the far left, a desk in the middle of the room and a fourposter bed to the far right. Right next to the bed was a large window with a window seat from which Hook could observe the ocean.
He turned round and walked over to a small table near his desk and poured himself a fire whiskey.
Now, fire whiskey was just as good as any other whiskey but this whiskey just happened to contain drops from a fire rose. A vey rare plant which grew in only some very secluded and uninhabited parts of Neverland. A fire rose's nectar is not to be drunk on its own. If you did, you would die. If added to whiskey the nectar would be diluted enough to drink.
Hook loved fire whiskey. Of course, it burnt a path down to your stomach but it's after effects were pleasent.
He inhaled deeply, exhaled and downed the remnants of his glass. Hook then proceeded to attach his hook's harness about himself and dress into navy trousers, a black shirt, his coat and leather boots. Screwing on his single silver hook to the handle on his right wrist, he walked out of his cabin slamming the wooden door behind him.
Hook walked through the corridor leading to the main deck, greeted by his crew yet he gave no reply. Ascending the stairs he gave his eyes a moment to adjust to the bright sunlight flooding the main deck. He was glad to see his crew at work scrubbing the deck, mending the sails and repairing the broken railing. He wouldn't have to scare them into working today.
Hook walked up the steps to the wheel to find Smee and one of his few right-hand men, Amir, standing over the large table next to the wheel studying a map.
"Good morning, Captain," Amir said looking up from the map.
"Good morning," Hook replied. "How much treasure did we bring back last night, gentlemen?"
"About €10 000, Cap'ain," Smee stated with a gleeful smile, clapping his hands.
"Glorious! Where do we stop next then?"
"We spotted an interesting looking prospect last night on our way out. The house is on the corner of Baker's Street," Amir replied with a sly grin.
The street name sounded eerily familiar to Hook but it didn't bother him for long. "Was there silver?" Hook inquired.
"Quite a bit."
"Gold?"
"A lot of that too."
"And jewels?"
"Tons of jewels, captain," Amir replied darkly.
"Brilliant! We sail at dusk! Have the pixie dust ready! We're going to London, men."
