Chapter 9

We reached the park and Leo led me to a bench. He sat opposite me and opened his backpack.

"Okay I didn't know what food to bring and I thought about bringing a pizza but that wouldn't fit in my bag. So I got pizza but it's just in slices." He said, getting out a tub filled with pizza slices.

"Oh my god Leo." I replied, laughing, looking at his little lunchbox.

"Just because my lunchbox is swag." He said, laughing.

He opened it and we ate the cold pizza.

"Pretty good pizza." I said to him.

"Yeah, it's good. A bit cold, but still good." He replied.

We ate our pizza and then Leo held my hands.

"What if there's bambinos around?" I asked him, looking around.

"Relax princess, there's not." Leo told me.

True, it was very quiet.

"So, hows school?" He asked me.

"It's good. But it's really hard not telling everyone about us." I replied.

"You haven't told them?!"

"No. I mean, don't get me wrong, I want to. But i'm scared. What if they don't believe me or get really jealous?" I asked him.

"True. But it doesn't matter, just tell them that Leo will go punch them." He said, laughing.

"Okay yeah, not wanting to sound mean here, but you're not exactly the toughest person i've ever met." I replied, laughing.

"Um excuse me, I can rap, can't I? That's sorta tough. Jk jk, I would set Blair on them." He said.

"Yeah, that might be better." I replied, laughing.

Leo sat and fiddled with my fingers and then we heard some loud voices. We turned around and there were a few girls running towards us.

"LEO! CAN WE HAVE A PICTURE?" They were screaming.

"Yeah sure." Leo said, getting up.

He took some pictures with them and then they looked at me.

"L...le...leo.... is.... is that....is that your...... girlfriend?" They asked them, looking really upset.

Leo looked at me and I looked back, biting my lip nervously.

"....no... just a friend." He told them.

They nodded and walked off and i had my face in my hands.

"Princess, what's wrong?" He asked me, sitting next to me.

"Did you see how upset they looked? They looked like they were about to cry! How do you think all the other fans will react when they find out we're together?" I asked, sighing.

"Please don't worry about them." Leo said, putting his arm round me and kissing me on the cheek.

"They'll just have to accept it or leave the fandom." Leo explained

"Yeah, I guess. Thank you Leo." I said, hugging him.

"Why?" He asked.

"For being amazing and kind and sweet and for putting up with me." I said.

"Awh princess, it's a pleasure. I love you so much." He said.

"I love you too Leo." I replied.

We kissed and then he hugged me. Our hug was interrupted by Leos phone ringing. He answered it and was talking to someone. He then ended the call and put his phone away.

"I am so so so sorry, i've got to go now. Wow, i'm a terrible boyfriend." He said, sighing.

"Leo, you're the best boyfriend ever. It's okay we can meet again some when." I told him.

"Yeah of course and we can spend loads more time together." He said.

"I'm gonna miss you." I said, hugging him.

"I'm gonna miss you too. I love you so much." He said, holding me closer.

"I love you more." I replied.

"No, I love you more."

"I think I love you a little bit more."

"Nah, I still love you more." Leo said, laughing.

"Let's agree we love each other the same." I replied.

"Yeah, agreed. Goodbye Ella, i'll text you." He said, kissing me.

"Okay, bye Leo." I replied.

We hugged for one last time and he walked away.

"I'll miss him." I whispered, walking in the opposite direction.
