Time To Decide

Y/n POV

I stood at the stairs, my eyes stuck on the closed front door as I waited to see it open.

Today was the day I had to decide.

The door suddenly flew open, all the slashers rushing in one by one.

They stood in front of me side by side, so that I could see all of them. Their faces were filled with hope, though even the slightest happiness was taken over by nervousness.

After they all came in, Jason shut the door behind him and stood in his spot, looking at me patiently just as the others were.

"S-So who did you pick?" Freddy asked.

I could see the nervousness in Freddys face as he spoke, and it especially became clear in his voice, the way it shook and stuttered.

"I pick..." I paused in my words, afraid of what the outcome would be and what would happen after I confessed.

"I pick-"

"Bubba."

"I pick Bubba." I said with a sigh.

They all looked at me with shocked faces, including Bubba, they all seemed speechless.

Suddenly they snapped out of their shock and looked down in what could be defeat? Sorrow? Whatever it was, they weren't happy.

As the rest looked down in despair, Bubbas adorable face lightened up in pure bliss.

He ran up to me and picked me up in a tight and joyful hug.

He spun me in circles, I could hear a cute laugh come from him.

He placed me down gently, looking into my eyes with a smile that looked to be happiness in its purest form.

Tears fell from his eyes as he looked down at me.

"Y-You have no idea how happy you've made me Y/n. I was s-so scared you wouldn't choose me-"

"Bubba-" I said as I caressed his cheek and looked up into his eyes "You've always been in my heart, I've wanted you for so long, and I love you."

As I spoke his tears came down harder and his bottom lip quivered, though it was a smile.

He once again pulled me in for a tight hug as he cried into my shoulder.

"I love you so much Y/n." He said, though it was muffled in my shirt.

"Jason."

"I pick Jason." I said with a sigh.

They all looked at me with shocked faces, including Jason, they all seemed speechless.

Jason walked up to me as he looked down at me.

As he stood in front of me, I hopped up, trying to indicate for him to pick me up.

He wrapped his arms around my legs as he lifted me up so that I was level with his face.
