Chris pulls into the driveway and gets out of the car, he walks around and opens the rear passenger door, he carefully unbuckles the seat belt strapped across her. As carefully as he can to not wake her, he picks her up out of her car seat and carries her inside and lays her in her bed, and lets her take a little nap as he gets started on making dinner, he cooked up a steak and salad for himself and for Ashley, he make some chicken nuggets and Mac & Cheese. just as he was finishing up making the food, Ashley came walking you into the living room yawning "What's daddy doing?" she asked, "Just finishing up dinner, why don't you have a seat on the couch and I'll bring your food out in just a sec." "alright" she replys. She walks over to the couch with her blanket wrapped around her like a cape and drops herself onto the couch and turns on come cartoons. "Alright sweetie, dinner's done." Chris walks the plates out to the living room and sets them down on the coffee table. "Careful it's hot." he says just before she sticks a big spoon full of the hot Mac & Cheese into her mouth panting trying her best to urgently cool it down with her breath. "Like i said, hot." he says with a slight smile. Ashley puts the spoon down to let it cool and sits back on the couch with an upset look on her face "I know, i was just making sure is all..." "Okay." he replys sarcastically. By the time she gets started on her food Chris is just finishing up, he gets up and walks his plate to the kitchen and gets started on cleaning up the kitchen and putting away any leftovers there is left. As Chris is loading up the last plate into the dishwasher Ashley trots into the kitchen holding up her empty bowl "All done daddy." she says proudly. "Thank you honey, why don't you go get ready for a bath, daddy will be there in just a second." "Okie daddy." she trots back off towards her bedroom to gather her bath toys. Chris quickly finishes up with the cleaning in the kitchen and goes to start the bath for her as she bolts out through the doors butt naked "Hahaha, you'll never catch me!" Chris stars the bath and gets it all bubbly, then starts to chase Ashley around the house, jumping over the couch, weaving around the dining table, in and out of the bedrooms until finally he catches her and carries her into the bathroom putting her down and closing the door ensuring she doesn't escape again. "Alright, lets give you your bath now why don't we." he says panting. Ashley dips her foot in to check the temperature and gets in. Chris lest her splash around for a fit as he gets the soap ready to wash her hair "Come here." he nudges her to face away from him and puts the soap in her hair "Close your eyes, you don't want to get soap in them." she closes her eyes still blindly playing with her toys and the water. He rinses the last of the soap out of her hair having her stand up so he can wash her body "Common, stand still." he says with a slight laugh, "But it tickles." "I know it does but i need to get you all nice and clean." After washing her he lets her play for a little longer in the water as he goes and gets her pajamas. He walks back towards the door just as she dashes out of the bathroom still dripping wet "Oh common, not again." she come to a screeching halt at the other end of the living room and whips around staring him in the eyes "Come her" he says sternly slowly stepping towards her "You have to catch me." she darts directly towards him and as he thinks he has finally caught her she ducks down and slides under his legs and continues running into her room where he corners her. "Can we at least dry you off first so you're not getting the house all wet too?" "Okay daddy." she says grabbing the towel to dry herself with. "Alright, now your jamies." he hands over her pajamas and she puts them on jumping into bed "Can daddy read me bedtime story?" "Yes, daddy can read you a story." he walks over to her bookshelf and scans each book "You know what, lets read this one tonight why don't we." he picks the book out of the shelf and sits down at the foot of her bed, "You al comfy?" "Yep." she replys with a smile. He reads her the book and nearing the end he looks up to see her asleep. he puts down the book and brings the blanket up to her shoulders "Good night my little princess." he kisses her forehead and turns on her night light slightly cracking her door. "Alright, time to clean up all this water."
