Chris wakes up, its a sunny morning and can hear the birds singing, he sits up and stretches then looks over at the clock "Shit!" he shouts as he jumps out of bed and rushes to get ready. Ashley slowly steps out of her room with a stuffed animal in her arm rubbing her eyes. "What's going on Daddy?" Chris stumbles across the hallway "One second sweetie, daddy's running late for work" Ashley walks into the kitchen and climbs onto the counter to get into the cabinet where the jar of Nutella is, grabs in and hops back down and goes to sit down on the couch, spooning down the nutella as she watches Christ struggle to get ready. The phone rings "Daddy, the phone is ringing!" Chris speed walks into the living room and picks up the phone "Hello? wait really? Thank you so much!" Chris drops himself onto the couch and lets out a sigh of relief. He looks over at Ashley "Excuse me young lady what do you think you're doing?" She slowly pulls the spoon out of her mouth and drops it into the now empty jar. "Nothing." She says with a full mouth. "Well first things first, you know you're not supposed to be eating just that for breakfast, and second, guess what." "I'm sowwie, what is it?" "Well, Daddy doesn't have yo go to work today, so I was thinking we could go out and do some shopping, how does that sound?" Ashley gets up and runs to her room and throws on the cutest dress she can think of. She comes out into the living room, Chris looks up to see her with her dress put on wrong, her arm is in the head hole and it's on backwards "I'm ready daddy." She says proudly "Oh boy." Chris let's out a little chuckle and gets up and gestures her back into her room where he fixes the dress and gets her all zipped up. Give me a makes sure that she's got her hair brushed and her teeth brushed. Chris finishes up getting ready and they walk out the door and get in the car and drive off. "So." Christian says looking over "Its your day so where are we going first?" Ashley thinks for a minute "Lets go to build bear!" She says excited. "Alright Build-a-bear it is." They get to the mall and go up to the shop. They get inside and Ashley looks around at all the different selections that they can get she looks a bit puzzled trying to decide. "Which one catches your eye hun?" Chris asks looking at her thinking hard about every choice. She looks around until finally her head stops "I want that one!" She runs over to a pink soft bear with a little heart nose and holds it up to him baring a huge smile. She gets it stuffed and adds a cotton candy sent and gives it a little hoodie. "What will it's name be?" Chris asks "Rosemary." She says as if she had already been thinking about it. Ashley puts Rosemary in her backpack with the head sticking out through the top and they start to walk around "So where to next?" Ashley snaps back "Lets go to the other mall, I don't like the stores here." "Alright." He says. They start heading towards the door when Ashley lightly tugs on Chris' sleeve, he looks back and she points to where the food court is at. "You hungry?" He asked, Ashley nods her head looking up at him. "What you want to eat?" "Can I have pretzels?" She asks softly. "Course you can hun." Ashley trails behind Chris as he goes up to the counter of Wetzels Pretzels to order the food, he looks back to her hiding behind him clinging to his shirt. "You know what you want?" She points to the picture of the pretzels, he looks back at the cashier "Can I get a few of your pretzels and and a another regular pretzel please." He pays for the food, grabs it and they walk over to the Orange Julius to grab a couple smoothies, Ashley gets a Strawberry Banana smoothie and Chris gets a Strawberry Mango smoothie, they get their stuff and go sit down to eat, Ashley inhaled the pretzels she got by the time Chris was only half way done with the one he got. After eating they head out and go to the Northtown Mall. "Can we go to Hot Topic?" Ashley asks. "Course we can." They go inside the store, Chris follows her around while she looks at all the things in there, picking up all the stuff she shows interest in. They get to the front of the store and she looks back at him not expecting to see him carrying all the stuff she liked. "Daddy what are you doing!" She shouts as he's placing the items on the counter to pay for them "Thank you ma'am." Chris turns around and walks towards Ashley holding the bags, she has a big smile on her face but also upset. "Why'd daddy get all that?" "This is the stuff you wanted right?" He asked. "Well, yeah, but, Daddy had to spend money." Chris smiles "I wanted to." She kinda shrugs it off but not letting it off. Leading the way, Chris goes into the phone store so he could take care of a couple adult things while Ashley plays the games on the display phones calling over to him about how good she's doing. "Daddy look look!" "One second sweetie, daddy's almost done." After he finishes up with his thing he goes to where she's at and let's he play here games for a little be for moving on to the next store.
