Gathering every single oil lamp in the entire apartment, Jin emptied the oil onto the surface of everything he could reach. He splashed oil on the floors, the walls, the linens, the drapes and every surface in between. He had laid Brielle upon the floor in the middle of the vast living area, placing her head upon a pillow, her body upon a sheet and arranged her perfectly. He crossed her arms upon her chest and angled her head to make it look as if she could have been asleep. Then he draped the half of the sheet he ahd left open over the top of her perfect body.

He would miss her so damn much. He would never recover from this, not even if he lived forever. She was the only one for him in any lifetime.

When he was finished, Jin took the single burning candle in his hand and gave the apartment one last look over. Blood was still smeared upon his neck and cheeks, his eyes were wild with fury and grief, but Jin knew that he must do this. He knew that one other thing needed to be done as well.

He knew that he must kill Hoseok.

In those terrible last seconds of Brielle's life, Jin saw that Hoseok had been responsible for her death. That if he had never showed up, never spoken with her, never sliced open her flesh with the shattered glass, his Brielle would still be with him.

With a gut wrenching sob, Jin set the candle flame to various places upon the shelves and floors, walls and windows. With a horrified fascination, he watched as the apartment was set ablaze, flames crackling and spreading at a dizzying speed.

Jin gathered the few items he knew he would need and walked out the door, not bothering to close it behind him. There was nothing left to keep safe.

He made the trip to Hoseok's mansion in a blind rage, throwing open the front doors and striding inside like he was a man on a mission, which, in fact, he was. He walked through the foyer, sweat dripping down his face.

"Buongiorno, Mr. Jin," Hoseok's maid greeted him, her voice thickly accented, to which he blatantly ignored. Good morning.

Marching through the grand entry way, Jin screamed for the Other. "Jung!" He continued walking until he came to the room where they had had their discussion about love and priests and being a man and..... Brielle.

Every piece of furniture had been covered by a thick, white sheet, as if Hoseok were going to be going away for a long time. Well, like hell he was. He wasn't going anywhere without paying for what he had done to Brielle. To the absolute love of Jin's life. Jin swore an oath to himself to not allow Hoseok to leave the city.

"He's not here," Hoseok's maid had followed Jin into the study.

Jin ran his hand upon the top of a tall piece of furniture, some sort of statue Jin had thought. He toppled it over as he screamed. "Where is he?!" He walked through the rooms and hallways screaming for Hoseok, the maid keeping pace with him.

"We thought--" Jin interrupted her by screaming for Hoseok again. He had to be somewhere. He couldn't have left Vatican City in just a scant few hours.

"--you would know, Mr. Jin," the maid shouted behind Jin as he sped his pace and left her behind.

"He said to say goodbye." The butler who also acted as the driver for Hoseok stood in front of Jin, who looked at the middle aged, balding man with furrowed brows and pursed lips. "He told me to tell you that everything is in order. Everything that once was his is now yours."

Jin stepped back a few paces and the fury that had been on his face gave way to shock and confusion. Hoseok still believed he would take his place as the next sineater! That must have been the motivation behind Hoseok killing Brielle. "What's going on here?" He slung the sheer, white curtain that had become tangled around his shoulders away from him before shouting in frustration. "What's going on here?!" His thoughts turned even more murderous as he spun around and stormed from the mansion, leaving glass shattered in his wake and the servants looking at each other in bewilderment.
