Today was Saturday which could mean only one thing for Asha. Day out with his father. He used to take Asha to parks,beaches or somewhere new every saturday. So as to give Dida a day off. So the little girl woke up with excitement and rushed to search for her father only to hear from his dida that he hasnt yet returned from his early morning jog.

The little girl got ready with the help of dida and waited and waited and waited. Her father told her that he will take her to see fishes in an Aquarium. And the little girl was so excited that she decided to wear the frock which had fishes in it. Then came the phone call from dad which led dida to break the news to the little girl that her dad is busy and wont be able to come home now. The little girl was heartbroken,she cried for awhile but soon as all little kids forgot her pain and started playing with her dida.

Arjun returned home much later that night. His white sleeveless tshirt was drenched with blood and he wore his jacket over this tshirt to cover the blood from the little girl sight as much as possible.

One look at him Dida managed to take Asha away with the promise of Rasgullas the little girl favourite. After a long shower Arjun got down to meet his little princess who must be angry with him for not keeping up with his promise of taking her to see the fishes today .

But little girls are little girls Asha has long forgotten about the trip with dad..She just rushed and hugged her dad asking to be lifted up in his arms.No anger, No questions sometime he just forgets his daughter is just three years old and incapable of staying angry or sad for long.

Though Dida rarely asks about Arjun whereabouts or what he do when he go outside. But today She must surely have a billion questions given the fact she saw his blood stained Tshirt and for Asha it might be just a colour but not for Dida and Arjun knows she needs an explanation about his whereabouts. So later when Asha slept Arjun explained the day events to Dida.

After he retired back to his room.He tried to sleep but sleep eluded him. The day events played out of before his eyes over and over. His shock at finding a girl washed ashore with multiple stab wounds.

And his relief to find her still breathing .And his panic to get her to the hospital on time that he almost lifted her and started running like an mad man.Till he got ride to the hospital by an kind Auto driver. Then everything came to an standstill,It was 5 hours or 6 hours he cant be sure but the surgery lasted that long and the doctors gave the news that though the knife wounds have been taken care of as it missed important artery and didnt do much damage as they expected.

They are worried about the head injury she sustained most likely due to the fall in the river.And they had to wait and see if she wakes up or slips into coma. They are perks to being an known person among the Police and Doctors. Arjun doesnt have to prove he didnt harm her.

They just believed his statement. Not only that they also listened to him to keep it from the news channel till the girl wakes up as her killer is still unknown and the killer might not know she survived so why let him know and endanger her life.

Once she wakes up and tells who is she and who tried to kill her then we can take the necessary steps to catch the person and protect her. They even send him home to refresh and come back tomorrow if he wanted too and they will call him if she wakes up before that.

But the girl did slip into an coma and she didnt wake up for the next one month. Though the police still have no clue about her identity as no reports were filled looking for her and they didnt want to advertise and let the killer know her whereabouts either.
