I was told to go home. I didn't want to but Did I have a choice? Sophia was nowhere to be found. That was when Kacy got a call.

"Oh my goodness! Yes I will be right there!" She shouted. I assumed it was from the police station. After what seemed like 3 minutes, We got in the car and rushed towards the place I found Sophia's phone.

We came across some officers and they were crowded around a disconnected camera. They watched a tape and I recognized the figure. Sophia. My heart slowed down at the view of her beautiful hair, the bracelet I gave her a while back and I let myself cry with no sound. A silent cry. I yearned for her presence. I shouldn't have been mad at her.

"She was definitely kidnapped-" I realized something else in the video. A man who ran away from the scene. Her dad. I clenched my jaw. I pointed to the man.

"That right there. That's her Biological father." I said. Kacy and Brandon looked up. The officer holding the camera nodded. Kacy moved her way towards me and pulled me aside.

"Daniel, dear, Brandon and I think it's best if you go home and rest. It's getting dark." She said. I shook my head. "Yes. Daniel, you need to go home. You seemed to be stressed about this. All of this." Brandon walked in as I shook my head once more looking down.

"Go home or you surely won't see Sophia again." He said. I knew what this was. For WHEN they find Sophia they'll prevent us from seeing each other. I couldn't risk it.

I walked my way to The Buffington house when Jacob was sitting on the porch with Jessie. I saluted to Jacob and he forced a smile. I got in my car and drove home.
