Some weeks later

Finally Asma'u have been discharged, i won't jut sit here and watch this family ruin,but why would i report, i should at least allow her to rest and spend a little time with her mum "No" am definitely going to report because the more they stay the more harm she gets

I stood up, left the house without telling anyone and returned with the police

"Good day" one of the police said

"Good day, how may we help you" Fadil asked calmly

"We are looking for one Miss Maimuna and Mrs Aisha, popularly known as Humaira" The other said looking around the house

"Here they are"Fatima added pointing at them with suspicious look

"No am not Maimuna, sorry am n n not"Maimuna stammered which made everyone glare at her with mouth wide open

"What do you mean Maimoon" Asma'u said softly with eyes wide open

"Well enough of this drama, you two are under arrest" The police said pointing a gun at them

"F - f - for what?"Mum stammered

"Shut up or anything you say or do shall be used against you in the court of law" The boss said bringing out a handcuff from his back pocket

"Mum what are they saying" Farouq send her a surprised look

"When we get to the station you will know" The police said "Move" he added

Everyone just followed them to the station, i was so happy, and finally we arrived

"But who reported them" Misbah asked

"I did" i calmly said and they all look surprised

"Do you have any evidence"Maimuna fire back while on the other hand mum just kept shivering with fear

"A lot" i nod and look at the police

"Play the video" their boss said and they played all the conversation mum and Maimuna had, everyone just looked at them in shame

"Please forgive me this devil lured me into doing t ..." before she could finish Asma'u cut in

"Shh you are both a disgrace to womanhood, also no one can force you to do something you don't want to"She said annoyed

"Okay this is the dead line, i will confess, i - i - i killed Al amin" mum said and all of them just shift back

"Aoudhu Billah, so you can be this heartless" Farouq stated while Fatee just stood behind weeping in my arms

"We don't have much time left, take them away" The police said

"What will be their judgment" Fatee finally spoke

"Well every killer shall be killed" Another said and shook her head

"Or life imprisonment"

"Wow mum just take a look at your life, what a shame" Misbah said and tears finally escape his eyes

I am now free i finally spoke, am so bittersweet right now but at least i spoke the truth am a bit relieved

Well finally arrested, phew well how did you like the chapter
