Marnie: "Spendin' Valentine's Day on a liveaboard boat wasn't exactly what I was going for."
The two trainers were on their way to the island of Pasio, where they would start a new journey together. Today was the first Valentine's Day they would spend together.
Y/N: "It's not that bad. We have snacks."
Grabbing the closes thing there was, Y/N held a Mr. Psyduck's Great Chips bag in his hand, almost empty.
Marnie: "Don't worry about it, as long as we're together, we'll be fine."
With their lips joining, Marnie held Y/N's face and enjoyed their long bonding session, and after a couple of seconds, they separated to breath. Marnie walked out of the room and stared out into the ocean, which was vast in comparison to anything she had ever seen before. The blue of the water mixing in well with the blues of the sky, and the bright sun right in the middle of both made for a perfect sunset view.
Marnie: "The view is beautiful."
Y/N: "You know what's even more beautiful?"
Getting up close to Marnie, Y/N whispered into her ear.
Y/N: "You."
As he looked into Marnie's eyes, he realized he made her cute companion a blushing mess, one she tried her best to hide with her arms.
Marnie: "Y-You're really corny..."
Y/N: "And you're adorable. We all win in the end."
With her best of efforts, she gave a very small smile with her lips.
Marnie: "So, what special things will we be doin' for today."
Y/N: "I don't know, I never really thought Valentine's Day was a good idea. Why do we need a day to show that special someone that we love them? We should be doing that everyday."
Marnie: "That's a really good point."
Y/N: "But I still wanna do something for you."
Marnie walked back in the room with Y/N and they both dropped on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Y/N held Marnie in his arms and she had her head on his chest.
Marnie: "Whatever will we do? Should we swim? Maybe...somethin' else..."
Y/N: "Hey Marnie, how did we meet?"
Marnie: "Huh. Well it was a long time ago..."
Y/N: "I'll tell the story."
Marnie: "Go ahead. It would be a nice trip down memory lane."
Y/N: "Well, it was before I became champion..."

"What are you lot doin' here?"
As soon as Hop and I were finished fighting the strange group of weirdos, a girl appeared out of nowhere. There was something about her that made me feel...different.
"M-Marnie! N-n-nothin'...We was just..."
Marnie: "I know you all are terribly curious 'bout the other gym challengers, but you gotta show a bit of restraint."
The girl, who was apparently called Marnie, turned to face us and as she talked, her serious glare had a strange effect on me. There was something about her that was appealing to me, probably the fact that she could pull off the scary look and the cute look at the same time.
Marnie: "Sorry 'bout them! They're just a bunch of my fans. Call themselves Team Yell and follow me around, cheerin' for me."
Y/N: "Don't worry about it, we're doing just fine...."
