"Chicagooooo, Chicagoooo!" Anthony sang out loud as they drove towards Indiana to visit the oracle Howard. Howard wasn't a wizard nor do he practice any kind of spells. He was however a magical deity. One of a kind. No one one knew what type of power he held but we all knew that he was special. He could feel out any species and pinpoint their location all with the use of his mind. He was a rare case.
"I need you to shut up," Jabari growled lightly, his wolf annoyed inside of his head. 'Put him out!' His wolf Ghost screamed as the singing continued.
"You don't like my Victorious song?" Anthony pouted and stuffed more fries into his mouth.
"No! I do not. You sound worst than Trina." The Alpha shaded and his Beta gasped and shut his mouth for the rest of the ride. The moment the duo arrived in Illinois Anthony sighed out loudly and sunk deeper into his seat. The annoyance on his face never leaving. The alpha stared at his Beta and laughed lightly. "You're over reacting. Howard maybe forgot all about that incident." He tried to reassure the young wolf.
"Forget? That man will always remember that incident. I was literally caught with the woman's titties in my mouth," he sighed again.
"Howard is harmless Anthony. Dont worry."
"Harmless? His butler is still missing after bringing him the wrong cigar. Remember?"
With a small chuckle, Jabari turned into the driveway of Howard's home and hopped out with a grumbling Anthony right behind him.
The silver haired, grey eyed, old man walked out of his white and gold modern mansion with a cigar placed in his mouth. His height allowing him to almost touch the trims of his door with his head.
"What brings you two young lads to my humble abode?" His British accent rolling off his tongue like silk. They always wondered why he chose to stay in Illinois but I guess he wanted a change of scenery.
"Howard." Jabari said curtly but continued, "dont think this visit is anything of a friendly one. The vampires are almost to Chicago and we need your help. Tell us what you know."
"Direct, I like it." He muttered before turning to Anthony.
"Antonio," he muttered.
"Anthony," the younger boy scolded before walking towards the mansion.
"Come on in."
The two men followed the older man into his home where he directed them to the sitting quarters.
"Whiskey?" He offered but they both politely declined. Anthony faster than Jabari because the man still believed that Howard wanted to kill him.
"The vampires have always been known as elusive. When they appear its prominent as they do come in with a bang. Wont you say?" He chuckled as a sip of his whiskey was taken.
"Vampires are scaly, arrogant creatures. Their arrogance can be smelled from miles away." The alpha shook his head as he thought of killing the vile creatures.
"Emotional anger is the worst of them all, young lad." The British man spoke and stood from his sitting position and walked over to his book shelf.
"In war we must always be prepared. Death is inevitable but we lose less players with preparation." Howard started, "It is war's prize to take all vantage, Shakespeare once said. He is quite right. In the midst of war, take and use all advantages."
Putting his book down, his both hands rose into the air. 'Inshilica!' He chanted lowly, his silver hair flowing behind him like a water wave. His once silver eyes turned cloudy white and his once clear palm was now a canvas for his third eye.
