Chapter Six- A Date?

Connor's POV-
Bethany bites her lip and looks away from me. I should have never said that! I screwed it all up! I can't believe that I said that! What is wrong with me?! "I, um, was, kinda, hoping you would say that..." Bethany said. "Really? Why?" I asked. "Well, ever since "Cethany" rumors started to spread, I had a crush on you. You see, at first, I thought about "Cethany" and it just seemed like, I don't know, maybe we would be a good couple?" Bethany explained. "Wow. You had a crush on me for that long?" I asked, waiting for an answer. Bethany nodded. "Well, you know what?" I said while getting up. "What?" Bethany said while running her hands through her hair. "Wanna go on a, date?" I said stretching out the word "date". Bethany smiled and said,"Sure!"
Bethany's POV-
Connor just asked me out! No, Connor Franta did! THE Connor Franta! Wow! "8:30 PM at the restaurant?" Connor asked, telling me more information. "Perfect!" I said. Then, I went to my room and slept some more because it was only 3:00 AM.
[When Connor and Bethany wake up]
Bethany's POV-
I better get ready! What should I wear? A floral dress or a casual look? What make up should I have on? Ugh. This is so frustrating!
Connor's POV-
I need to pick out something to wear. A suit or normal everyday wear? I start to fix my quiff, since it is kinda messy. I put my hands into some gel and work it into my hair while making it go to one side.
[After both of them are ready]
Connor's POV-
I decide to wear the suit because we are going to a restaurant. I want to look pretty good in this fancy restaurant.
Bethany's POV-
I decide to wear the floral dress with a pastel make up look. Connor told me to call him when I'm ready.
[After calling]
Bethany's POV-
Okay. He said I need to meet him at the lobby. I hope he will be there!
Connor's POV-
Bethany just called me. I better go! I run to the elevator to go to the main lobby and in the elevator, is Bethany! What a coincidence! I walk in and silence fills the room. Awkward. But, we kept on looking at each other though. "You look amazing." I say in awe. "Your not looking too bad yourself either." Bethany says and then giggles. When we are on the first floor we walk to the doors and I open it for her. "Ladies first." I said. "Thanks." Bethany replies. We get into a car I rented for a few hours and go to the restaurant.
[At the restaurant]
Connor's POV-
As soon as we walk in, I could tell, everyone's eyes where on Bethany. Everyone turned their heads. Bethany smiled as she walked to a table.
Bethany's POV-
Wow. Everyone just looked at me. At the corner of my eye, I see a boy that just winked at me. Connor is scanning the room, looking a little angry. Why? I mean, this is just a date. It's not like we are boyfriend and girlfriend. Right?
Connor's POV-
When we get to the table I pull one of the chairs out so Bethany can sit, and gently push it back it. As I'm pulling out my chair, Bethany says,"Thank you." and I say,"You're very welcome madam." in a British accent. She giggles and then the waiter comes. "What would you like today?" The waiter asked. "I would have the pasta." Bethany says. "I'll have the fish soufflé." I say nervously, trying to say the words right. "Okay." The waiter says, then she walks away. "This restaurant is beautiful." Bethany says in awe. I look around and see elegant paintings, a chandelier, and plants that are yellow and purple. All of a sudden, this guy comes over to our table, and says,"Hey. If things don't work out with him," he points at me and pauses,"I'm available." He then clicks his tongue and walks away. "That jerk. Who does he think he is?" I mumble. Bethany hears me and says,"Are you okay?" With great concern. "Yeah. I'm fine." I lie. Bethany rolls her eyes and sighs. "Seriously, just tell me what's bothering you." How come all girls can see your true feelings even of your hiding it? Ugh. "Okay, fine, I'll tell you. It's just that, you are so amazing. Your pretty, kind, my dream girl. I don't want anyone else to take you. I'm so happy I'm on this date with you and I just can't handle you being with any other guy." Then, Bethany starts tearing up.
Bethany's POV-
Oh. My. Gosh. Did Connor just say that? I start to tear up. "I'm sorry. I'm a mess right now. Didn't mean for this to happen." I say. "That's okay. You have no reason to be sorry." Connor says while rubbing my back.
