Connor's POV-
I sit down, at the same table Bethany is. I say, "Hi! How's it going?" way too timidly. I cough to cover up my tone and she said, "Hey Con! What's up?" Did she just call me Con? I feel like my heart just burst. A rush of excitement went through my veins. "Nothing much!" I say. This time, way too loudly! Ugh. I could never get this right! Bethany looks at me with one eyebrow raised and smirks as if she knows something I'm trying to hide.
Bethany's POV-
Connor is acting a little weird. I raise my eyebrows and smirk. Does he like me? Did he just never say it? "Why are you smirking?" Connor asks. "Because..." I start. "Because I think, you, um, like me?" Connor gasps a little and says,"Yeah. I do."
