You held my hand and walked with me, face a glow with pride wondering when your little girl, becauses a glowing bride.
Hope you might find the strength, on this my wedding day.
To start a bold new chapter, to kiss and give away.
Your heart and hand a rainbow haze, a memory in each stride.
Laughter, love and yesterday as I spread my wings and fly.
A lifetime in second plays, each step the walk of life.
Then on my hand, a wedding band, your daughter now a wife.
Throughout the years, you're been my rock, I know I can depend.
On you each day, come what may, my father and friends.
In your home, I've flour is shed, grown, the words I speak are true.
Ho - One will ever take the place, my darling dad, of you.
For A loved Father on a Wedding Day!
