Yusuke gulped at the sound of the girl’s name. Even Hiei who was cold hearted as they came couldn’t help the sense of fear that came at that moment. Blood on the other hand simply smirked at the fear radiating off of the four boys. ‘And, their suppose to be the famous Spirit Detective team of Spirit World. Please give me a break’ Blood though with an amused look.
Hiei couldn’t help but listen in on the girls thoughts. ‘You really shouldn’t underestimate us onna (Japanese for Woman), we’re stronger then we look’ he said through his telepathy. ‘And you should learn to stay out of people’s minds who don’t want you there’ she replied back with anger. Hm, was all Hiei said as he turned his attention to the window.
Blood quickly stood up and walked out the room with anger radiating off her. Kurama watched as she slammed the door close with such force that a small crack appeared. “She’s strong” the red head said with a curious tone. “There’s something off about her though” Kuwabara said with a hint of mystery. “Why do you say that Kuwabara?”, Yusuke asked with curiosity.
‘So I guess you sensed it as well Hiei’ Kurama though to the already angry fire demon. ‘Yes fox…she must be one of those demons’ Hiei replied with a somewhat bored tone. ‘I thought she was a hybrid but it would appear I was somewhat right and wrong’ Kurama replied. ‘Your right fox, but the idiot and the detective are far too stupid to notice it’ Hiei replied back.
(Beach)
‘Damn him’, Blood though as she walked along the shore line. The breeze filled with the scent of sea water an sand. Blood sat on the shore line and let her feet get wet while looking out to the sea. ‘I have to get stronger, much, much stronger. If I can’t, I’ll never be able to face him when the times comes’ she thought with a sadden expression.
She smiled somewhat as the breeze blew her long shiver hair. With the sun setting upon the seas water the reflection allowed her usual plain hair to light up, giving the illusion that it was being set on fire.
(Hiei’s P.O.V.)
Hiei couldn’t help the heat he felt go to his face as he saw the girl sitting on the beach. Nor could he help the continuous pounding in his chest as he thought of her. ‘I have to stay away from her. She will be the end of me’, he thought sternly to himself. But still even if he had thought of that he’s still couldn’t ignore the feeling he felt when he looked at her.
Maybe just maybe this was what he feared an longed for all his life. Hiei’s eyes widen at the though. Could this truly be love that he was feeling for her. He stood from his secret stood in a nearby tree an disappeared deep into the woods. “I refuse to believe in that. That’s a weak emotion for humans. And I for one am not weak”, Hiei said to himself with a annoyed tone.
But somewhere deep within his heart. He knew without a doubt that what he was truly feeling, was indeed love. This cold an emotionless demon had found his one weakness an even if he hadn’t of noticed it yet. That very same weakness was going to make him strong in the long run.
