Working Romance

Chapter 1

Haruna's POV

I am currently searching for a job right now because the last work I had was one week ago. My boss fired me because of I didn't passed my project on time

Flashback

"Kojima!" my boss shouted

"Yes sir?"

"Where is the project?!!"

'Project? I don't remember any project' I thought

"Sir-" I tried to make an excuse but he cutted me off

"I'm tired of your excuses from now on, you're fired!"

End of Flashback

I tried to apply for a new job but I failed once again. I swear that luck isn't on my side anymore

"This is my 49th job interview and the next one is the 50th" I complained out loud

"Seriously? There is someone who did worse than me after all it is just my 38th time" A girl that suddenly appeared told me

"That is not something that should be proud off" I told the girl

"I got over 100 times" Another girl said as she appeared behind us

"Seriously?!!" we asked in unison

"Yeah" she replied

"We should be friends, I'm Takahashi Minami" the girl said

"My name is Kojima Haruna" I introduced myself

"I am Minegishi Minami, you may call me Mii-chan"

The three of us went to a nearby cafe to rest and chit-chat for a while. We ordered some bread and coffee so the waitress will not kick us out

"You know it must be fate that brought us together" Minami said as Mii-chan and I looked at her weirdly

"Here is your bread and coffee, have a nice day" the waitress said as she gave us our orders then she left

"Why does luck hates us?" I whined

"At this rate we wouldn't get a job"

"You're looking for a job?" a squirrel-like girl asked us from behind

"Yes" we replied

"Great!" she energetically shouted then she gave us a business card

"Just go to that address and show it to the guards. See ya"

"Oshima Corporation" I read out loud

"Isn't that the company that has some weird rumors?" Minami asked

"What kind of rumors?" Mii-chan and I asked back

"You know, the one regarding a female boss who is actually an old man on the inside" she replied

"I don't understand"

"Me neither" Mii-chan said

"Anyway, are we taking the risk?" she asked

"As long as the rumors aren't true, I'm taking the risk"

"Yeah" Mii-chan agreed

"That settles it"

After we paid our bill, we went to the Oshima Corporation and showed the card to the guards. They let us in and a woman welcomed us

"Hi our boss is expecting the three of you"

"Boss?"

"Expecting?"

"Us?"

"What do you mean?"

She gestured us to follow which we did and we reached the office of the so-called boss. I'm pretty nervous because of the rumors

"Oshiriko-chan they are here" she said as she knocked on the door

"Thank you Shiriri-chan let them in" a familiar voice said

"Okay" she said as she opened the door revealing the squirrel-like girl

"You?!"

"My name is Oshima Yuko, the C.E.O of the Oshima Corporation, nice to meet you" she said as she smiled which reveals her dimples

"I am Takahashi Minami, 18 years old" Minami introduced herself first

"My name is Minegishi Minami, same age with Minami"

"I am Kojima Haruna, 20 years old"

Oshima-san observed us carefully before telling us something that shocked the three of us

"The three of you are hired"

"Eh?"
