When I woke up the next morning to Tue smell of my moms family's strawberry shortcake waffles . I almost started to cry . dad much like today always tries to cheer me up by trying to make my moms waffles . Mom and dad always made me waffles when I was under the weather , down for the count , or just plain put just having a bad day . Mom always made my favorite Strawberry shortcake waffles . She was the only one that would make my favorite cake into a waffle . Once when mom had to go out of town for two weeks on business she tried to teach dad how to make her famous waffles ,But in the end she gave up and told him he was doing a great job . Then she reached into her pied handed the waffle to dad and made him try it. He smiled as she lied through her teeth telling him he made it . I still remember mom and I giggling and laughing when dad realized that we had fooled him . finally pushing the memory away I got out of bed took a quick shower put on a pair of my PJs . the Eeyore PJs my mom bought me last Christmas and rand down stairs just in time to see dad leaning over into the refrigerator , while The stove was on fire . Yeah you heard me . Our stove was on fire . I ran over to the stove and poured a whole box of salt on it . "Dad really the stove was on fire what are you doing ?" He had I little sparkle in his eyes when he said . " Well I was just tryina make you some waffles when I forgot that I had to have the cheese cake mix . I'm really sorry honey I didn't mean to scare you . " I couldn't help it I walked over to him and hugged him tightly for a little while . After our moment I helped him make the waffles and we walked to the living room to watch a movie while we ate . Sometime in the middle of the commotion of watching Madea goes to jail Sarah showed up. She came in and ate waffles with us and watched the movie .

A little while later I heard my phone ring .

And I knew exactly whom it was by the ring tone . I only had that ring tone for two people and one is right beside me .

"We all just want to be big Rock stars living in mile high mansions driving fifteen cars. Hang out in the coolest bars VIP with the movie stars . Every good gold diggers gonna end up there Every playboy bunny with bleach blonde hair . yeah yeah I'm gonna be a rock star ."

Yep Rock star by Nickleback . That was our jam .

Jace : Hey Banana which you up to.

Anna : Didn't I tell you not to call me that and nothing . Just chillin with dad and Sarah .

Jace : Oh well when are you coming back home . I miss you and I want to see you . Your my best friend .

Anna : I am home didn't I just say that I'm chillin with dad and Sarah .

Jace : Wait why didn't you tell me you were home how come I wasn't invited ? Wait is Keller there is that why you didn't invite me ?

Anna : No Keller is not here nor will he be and please reframe from saying anything to him about me or to me about him .

Jace : Hell yeah . I mean I'm so sorry and OK . got it I'm on the way love y'all tell Sarah I said hi . love you banana.

Anna : Jace what did I tell you bout that damn it .

Anna : Jace

Anna : Jace.

Ding dong

I heard the door bell and knew whom it was . So I sent one last text message .

Anna: Jason in eight years you have never once used my door. Why are you starting now? Get your ass in here and cuddle with us.

A few moments later I was cuddled up next to Jason on the couch while Sarah was cuddled up next to me. We must have fallen asleep while watching Madea goes to jail , because I was awoken by my dad telling someone to go away . So I unglued myself from Jason's arms and walked to the door .

"Dad is everything okay ?" " Everything is okay honey . Just go back in the living room with Jason and Sarah . " " Wait Jason and Sarah are her but I'm not even allowed to see my own fiance . What the hell ? "

I had had enough I walked over to the door and pulled it open even more then it or daddy was and stepped in front of my father . " Excuse me dad . Keller Jason is here because he had never let me down . He has never left me alone on purpose when I needed him . He has always been there for me since I was little. He never let anyone take advantage of me he is there when I was there . He is here for me now . He didn't leave me alone . He didn't just walk past me and act like I wasn't in the room when I needed him them the most . He didn't scream at me when I didn't call him and tell him where I was . Jason takes care of me he doesn't want me to CHANGE for him . He loves me as I am . And Sarah is my best friend . Yeah she has her faults , but I know she loves me and will always be here for me no matter what I do or WHO I AM . They love me for me not what I am or could be . And as for being you fiance . Uh no . Not anymore I don't want to be anywhere near you I won't wear your ring I won't call or text you and I won't come by your house before calling to make sure that that you aren't there . Maybe one day I can forgive you and we can become friends . Bit for now I think we should just make a clean break . So pleases don't come by anymore , and please don't ask my friends about me . And in return I promise to do the same . So goodbye Keller . Come on dad let's go . " I walked away and closed the door behind us and went back to my best friends on the couch . Sitting there with my two best friends I realized that I was happy just being me .
