Tamaki didn't particularly like getting kissed. He thinks they're pretty gross. As he's gotten older he comes to the conclusion that it depends on the people who kiss him.

When his parents kiss him he doesn't like it and it's not just because it's embarrassing. It's gross to feel the reminiscing of their saliva on either side of his cheeks.

Yet, here he was. Waiting on Mirio to get finished dressing to go to school together.

Today he decided to come a little earlier. His reason was that he wanted to ask Mirio a question. In just a moment Mirio was ready and hyped to head to the Academy.

"Alright!! Let's go!" Mirio said ecstatically opening the door for Tamaki.

This was what was wrong.

"Wait, Mirio I need to ask you something," Tamaki said rubbing his index fingers together.

"What is it?"

He remembers the kisses that Mirio had given him every morning before walking out. Recently though...he hasn't been getting any from the blond.

"D-Do you not like kissing me anymore?"

"Huh?"

"Well, you used to kiss me before we left," he said with a frown not looking up at his boyfriend.

"What!? No! That's not it at all! I'm sorry Tamaki! It's just, I heard you talking to Nejire. You told her how much you didn't like getting kissed. I realized how inconsiderate I was being. He reached for Tamaki's hand.

"Even if I'm your boyfriend I wanted to respect your feelings," he usually gave a small peck to  Tamaki's hand. He stopped that as well.

"I still love you. I don't want you believing that I don't. It's okay if you don't want me to kiss you," he said smiling. Tamaki thought about all the times Mirio kissed him. He always liked them. They made him feel special. He wanted Mirio to kiss him.

"Yeah, but I like it when you kiss me," he said making eye contact with Mirio.

"I love you Mirio. I want to feel your lips on mine again," he said while a blush made its way to his cheeks.

Mirio without thinking leaned in and gave Tamaki a kiss on the lips. Tamaki could feel the smile that came to Mirios lips. He loved how warm it made him feel. He missed this and he didn't want it to end.

"I won't stop then," Mirio said pulling away and ending the kiss. It caused Tamaki to squeeze Mirios hand a little not wanting to pull away.

"You know...even as kids you never told me you didn't like getting kissed Tamaki," Mirio said choosing that to be the conversation he wanted to have as they walked.

"I guess, I subconsciously didn't mind if they came from you," Tamaki responded. A shy smile forming as he gently squeezed Mirios hand.

|Time skip|

"Hey, Tamaki can I start kissing you on the cheek too. I know you don't like public kissing but maybe just a few pecks wouldn't hurt?" Mirio asked taking a bite of his breakfast.

"Only if I can give them to you too."

"It's a deal!" Mirio said happily before pausing.

"How about your hand?"

"What about my hand?" Tamaki was confused lifting it up and looking at it bewildered.

"Can I kiss it too?" Mirio said taking Tamaki's hand and kissing it. Leaving Tamaki a blushing mess, his mouth quivering.
