Dear diary,
I've met someone new today! He's a bit shy and a new student. During our break, I spoke to him about my favorite heroes. He didn't say anything back, but that was fine! I wanted to be friends with him; he said he liked heroes too! He said his name was Tamaki Amajiki.

Dear diary,
Today I kept trying to make Tamaki feel comfortable. I was almost sure he didn't want me near him. But today, Tamaki did something unexpected! He told me about his quirk; it sounds so cool! He can manifest different animal parts depending on what he eats!

I told him my quirk too, and how it was nothing compared to his, but he said he liked it; it made him smile when I faced my hand through a plank of wood; I don't know why but I felt my stomach feel weird when I saw Tamaki smiling, his eyes shined so brightly, It was probably nothing.

Dear diary,
I told Tamaki that I noticed how close we live, so I asked to walk home together. Was I a little nervous? He said it was okay with him! I was so excited for school to end. I waited for Tamaki outside. He waved, and I smiled; it has become our daily routine!

Dear diary,
It was during summer break when I asked him to come over to have a slumber party at my house. It was my first slumber party and his too. I faced through the floor while we were playing a game. I was so scared! I laughed about it, but Tamaki got so frightened for me. I told him I was okay, we left the game, and instead, I asked him if he could teach me his magic tricks!

Dear diary,
Something happened to me today. Tamaki and I went to the park. We played for a bit, but then Tamaki stopped and strolled; I could see him looking at a flower. I asked him what he was doing; he wasn't looking at the flower, he was staring at a butterfly! He turned to look at me and said butterflies were his favorite.

"They're beautiful, aren't they, Mirio?" He asked and smiled. I just nodded. His bright smile was so rare to see. I felt my cheeks feel warm, and my stomach felt weird. I didn't know why. I shook my head and laughed when I saw the butterfly fly on Tamaki's nose!

I'm so happy! I told Tamaki that we were best friends at this point, so...I asked Tamaki if I could call him by his first name! He blinked a couple of times before looking to the side and nodding.

Dear diary,
Today was Amajiki's birthday; I gave him this cool sweater with butterflies all over it. I told him it looked great on him! He jumped in my arms, and I felt his soft hair hit my face. We laughed, and he's spending the night over at my house, quickly writing this while he's asleep. H̶e̶ l̶o̶o̶k̶s̶ s̶o̶ c̶u̶t̶e̶.

Dear diary,
Today was Valentine's Day, so I made Amajiki a Valentine's Day card; I didn't know if I should give it to him, we've never done anything for Valentine's, but I wanted to this year, so I made him a card, the night before, but staring at the card my face flushed and decided to leave it at home, but then, Amajiki, gave me a card and homemade chocolates!!?

Ugh, I stuttered out a thank you, he smiled,  waved bye, and went back to his desk. I felt terrible, but then I got the idea of getting Amajiki something on a white day! Thinking about it made me feel a little lightheaded.

Dear diary,
The day came, white day; I re-wrote my letter and decided to get Amajiki a white teddy bear; I don't know, was it enough? I couldn't tell; Amajiki had his head down when he accepted them, but he hugged me, which made my heart stop; I hugged him back; when we let go, he smiled, waved, and walked off. I clenched my shirt where my heart was.

I couldn't stop thinking about how I felt. It's so frustrating, I searched it up online, but it said feeling this way sounded like I had a crush!?

I think I'm just going to give myself time to figure my feeling out.

It's been a hectic year, but after all the stuttering and heart-thumping, I can't deny that I do have feelings for Amajiki. Now, I don't know what to do. Should I ask him out? Is that too forward?
