It was always just me and Tom in the beginning. Ever since the first day at Hogwarts. Of course we had Avery and Lestrange, but I mean Tom and I were close.
We weren't dating, no. But more of best friends. We both had our desires and fantasies for each other.

He told me his plans and secrets, I told him mine. Of course ours were somewhat different. He wanted to rule. So did I, but I wanted a family.
"And that's what you'll get," he'd tell me. Every time it would make my heart flutter.
They feared Tom. And they knew not to mess with me. They thought we were dating. Tom never said we were, but he never said we weren't.
He told me he loved me. I thought I loved him. Turns out I was in love.
But secretly, he was in love with me too. Before, people said he couldn't love. But really, he had no one to love.
