The other night, when the ambulance showed up they were quick to put Jisung on a stretcher and into the car. Removing the blood stained clothing from around his stomach to examine what's underneath.

An oxygen mask on his face to keep him at bay and making sure he's breathing. Luckily he didn't loose a dangerous amount of blood.

By the time morning comes Jisung hasn't woken up yet. Peacefully laying on the hospital bed, his wounds cleaned carefully tooken care of and bandages on them. It was mostly quiet in the room except for the machines he's hooked up to.

His face srunches in discomfort before he lightly opens his eyes, just a bit. The bright lights making him regret opening them in the first place.

But in attempt, he tries again, letting his eyed stay squinted for a bit to get ajusted to such blinding light exposure. Finally able to endure it he looks around the room.

'Oh'

He glides his left hand curiously over his lower abdomen.
His tips of his fingers feeling nothing buy a big patch but also slightly cushiony.

'I guess it really did happen'

He sighs,

'Why didn't he do it?'

Usually, as we all know a attacker normally kidnaps or kills their victim on the spot. But why didn't he?

"I see your finally awake." A tall male in a long white coat sits on the edge of the bed. Jisung just stares.

"Do you mind if I give those bandages a look?" Not having the urge to talk he shakes his head. With the help of the doctor they carefully lift up his hospital gown (He has shorts on underneath) to reveal the big but not so white patch.

"So it's definitely taking it's time, but the bleeding went down to a minimum. Which is great." (I'm not a doctor so if this is bad don't @ me) He pushes lightly around the wound area. Making him flinch a bit. "And it's still tender, a few more days of resting and you should be good to go"

"May I ask," he pauses. "do you remember... what happened?"

Jisung starts to think, he remembers everything but the male spared his life.

And now in return, he should do the same.

"No" he voice straight up raspy from not talking for a while. "I'm sorry but I really don't"

"It's okay, don't worry we'll find out eventually. But until then get some rest, that injury is gonna need it."

Never would you think you would be thinking about approaching the person that you almost killed. Especially their job.

He was starting to feel extremely guilty and wanted to apologize. He was pacing around the living space and noticed a change in his demeanor.
He never has mercy on people he's assigned to kill, ever. Even though Jisung wasn't a task, he still could see what made him so different. What made him develop a soft spot for the younger right off the bat.

He's never came across someone that goes through what he's experienced. It was hard for people to understand and no one bothered to hear him out. That's why he's not expressive. Just straight up cold and shuts people out.

But then again, being so out of touch with his emotions only made his job so much easier. With only one goal in mind.

'Get the job done'

Emotions Is alway a down fall. For the past 2 days he's been prying his head on whether the boy was doing okay. At least he hope he is. He wants to apologize, but how? He could always see if he's at that flower shop, but what it that comes out creepy?

But it's worth a shot.

Let's just hope he doesn't take it the wrong way.

I wrote all the chapters I've done so far are on paper and this chapter was supposed to be chapter 3. I had to break 1 and 2 up into pieces. So here you go, double update since I owe you guys one for not doing it before
