"Come on Amy, let's take you a bath before every one comes back from shopping."I got out of the pool as he grabs my towel to wrap around me. Helping me dry off he takes me into the house to help gather my clothes together, to put on after my bath.
"I'm gonna help you take a bath so you'll get done before they come back okay." I nodded my head walking into the bathroom as he watched me get undress.
"Amy!" I snapped my head in the direction of Lexi standing near the fridge pulling out the gallon of milk for her cereal.
"Girl did you hear anything I said" She looks at me clearly annoyed knowing I didn't hear a damn thing she said.
"Sorry lost in my thoughts." I shrugged while taking a spoon full of lucky charms. "What did you say again?"
"Mike asked if we wanted to hang out with him and Leo today. So I figured since the Eagles game is on today we could just order food and watch it with them." She said settling in her chair across from me.
"Sure why not, what kind of best friend would I be if I didn't play wing woman once in a while" I said taking another spoon full of my breakfast.
She looked at me with a wide grin from ear to ear. "Oh so you hanging with Leo is just you being my wing woman?" She questioned raising a brow at me.
I rolled my eyes and decided not to respond. I finished up my breakfast before washing my dishes and deciding to take a shower.
Stepping in the shower I got lost in thought. This was my safe place to cry. Sometimes I didn't even understand how the tears would appear on their own. One minute I could plaster a fake smile on my face while saying random jokes. The next the pain would knock me down like a wave crashing down on me.
I took a deep breath while continuing to wash myself. Looking at an old scar that was now covered in a wolf tattoo. That was my way of hiding it. Just like the skeletons I have stashed away. Sometimes reality could be so hard to face, but some people will never understand that.
I get asked frequently what my wolf tattoo means. Or all my tattoos in general. But I only give half answers. When you've tried to talk about your feelings before and the world shuts you up, you learn to move silently like a lone wolf. You learn to fight on your own while trying not to lose yourself in the darkness that life throws your way.
After twenty minutes of silently crying I managed to get the tears to stop. Which meant I was now able to finish up my shower and get ready for the rest of my day.
I decided to wear black tights with my Wentz Jersey along with my all black vans and tied my hair up in a messy bun, not really caring about my baby hairs or loose strands. I stood in front of the mirror and contemplated if I wanted to wear any makeup but decided not to.
"Amy! The guys are on their way!" Lexi shouted while I opened my door walking into the hallway. "They said they'll bring the beer since were ordering food".
"Seems like a fair trade" I said plopping down on the couch after grabbing the remote to switch on the tv. We still had about an hour before the game starts, so I decided to kill time catching up on The Flash.
About twenty minutes into the show I heard a knock on the door. "Guys are here" I shouted to Lexi while she was still getting ready. She wasn't that big of a football fan as me but still knew about the game. She asked to borrow one of my jerseys to impress Mike, which I honestly didn't mind. The perks of having a tomboy as a best friend,"Hello pretty eyes." Were the first words that came out of Leo's mouth when he saw me. I raised a brow to him before giving him a smug look.
