"Sunflower Yellow"
Sunflower yellow is the color of the sun
Shining bright rays of light
And hovering very far away
A beautiful sunflower petal.
There are Sunflower Yellow stars,
And Sunflower Yellow dresses
It's an allusion that everything is glowing
The Sunflower field can be breathtaking.
Sunflower Yellow should be warm,
Happy, Confident
Not cold, and dull.
Sunflower Yellow feels like it's lost,
Unworthy, misunderstood,
Drifting farther and farther away from who They are.
Sunflower Yellow should feel like freedom
But Sunflower Yellow looks stuck, Confused,
Have no idea where it's at or trying to go.

This is a poem i was supposed to write for school and the assignment was you were supposed to pick a color and essentially the color represented you. and for the poem i chose Sumflower Yellow to represent me. hope you enjoy. :))
