Chapter 8: Valentine's

The next day

As the two were packing their stuffs ready to go out for a vacation, the little girl handed a paper to her dad and to her mother. They both opened them and the wife smiled "You like it?" The child said smiling waiting for their reply, "Yes dear.. it's beautiful. Thank you. You had put a lot on effort making it." Muzan said smiling. The wife then said the same too. The girl hold Muzan's hand and put it on her wife's hand. The wife looked at her husband and they both smiled at each other. "Happy valentines dear." The wife said "You too." Muzan said and slightly smiled and kissed his wife's forehead.

Tanjiro's POV:

When I watched those two being in loved, I felt alone and sad..

I tightly gripped my chest and stand there for a couple of minutes. I eventually snapped out and walked inside the bathroom..

'What is this feeling? Why do I feel so sad?? Shouldn't I be happy for them..??? Sigh... did I got attached to Muzan that quickly?! No Tanjiro! That filthy man killed one of you families! S-snap out of it!!'  Tears eventually flow down onto my cheeks and I sobbed there. I looked into the mirror and questioned myself

Why? He's my enemy! I shouldn't be jealous! Snap out of it, You-

 I heard a knock on the door, "Tanjiro..?"

Muzan!

I quickly wipe my tears and took a deep breath "Y-y-yeah??" I stuttered, "Open." Muzan said in a low voice.

Huehuehue continue this tomorrow. I'm sleepy af and it's 11:46 pm ngl XD

Muzan

"Open." I said. I waited for him to open the door but he didn't, so, I eventually just kicked the door which made a loud sound. "Gah!" Tanjiro said as he jumped, when I saw his face I got confused..

"Why are you crying?" I asked him, he just stood there. "Tell me.." I said strictly, he then eventually run up to me giving me a hug. He cried a lot, I held his head and hug him. "What's wrong?" I said, he then let go and said "I-it's nothing, Muzan. It's just that.." He gave me a smile. I pinned him to the wall and asked again "What's wrong?" I said. He just stood there..

 "Seriously.. it's nothing! I'm just..." He started to look away from me, I just let out a sigh. "Muzan.." Tanjiro said in a low voice "What is it?" I said "do you love your family?" He asked me with this sad eyes of his, I stayed quiet for a while "What makes you question that??" I said and face my back on him. "W-well... I'm just curious hehe.." He said to me. I just walked away, never answering his question.
