Chapter 7: New Life one goal

"ASIAAAAA!!!

I realize I am in a bed bandaged up from all my injuries. then multiple flashbacks start playing in my mind  

The walk up to the Church, Seeing none of the Orphans out in the play group, The "empty" study of father Mitchel to be meet with a fallen angel that basically wanted my head on a silver platter. 

"Are you all right in there?" 

"hmmm?!" 

I look towards the door and notice a very unique head of red hair peek through the opening of the door. it was Rias. 

"I heard you scream and wanted to make sure that you were okay. I can only assume that what made you scream was a nightmare?"

"More like my whole yesterday or whatever day it was replaying in my sleep... wait how are you here in my apartment?" 

"I managed to get us both here thanks to teleportation magic."

"Well thank you fo- Did you just say teleportation magic???" 

"Well remember how I said the Occult Research Club was used for studying the paranormal and folk tales about the beyond."

"Yes.." 

"In said club the members including myself are all devils." 

"WAIT DEVILS EXIST!?" 

"Yes they do. as well as all matter of mythological beings like kitsune, nekomatas and as you saw a week ago fallen angels."

"That is insa- I'VE BEEN PASSED OUT FOR 7DAYS!!! what happened while I was out cold?!" 

"Well for starters the whereabouts of the nun you were screaming for is unknown, The fallen angel that attacked you is still roaming around the streets and The father of the church you lived in is also still at large."

"Rias I have one question.."

"What is it y/n?" 

"How did you find me and save me you would have been at your home and within no range at all to hear me." 

"Remember the kind girl that gave you a flyer?"

"Yeah the one with the weird symbol?" 

"Correct those are little summoning circles and lucky enough you had one." 

  "Yeah... on to the next how did you heal me?" 

"Well your wounds were to sever for healing magic so I had no other choice than to make you my servant. you are now a devil of the Gremory Household." 

"Hehehe... I find great irony in this turn of events. Raised by the church praying every day living a life that would guild me to a better place. Believing in a higher power that didn't even answer my plea for a safe home." 

"I'm sorry if it makes you feel that way but there was no other way to save you. You very well could have died 4 days ago if I didn't do that." 

"And personally I thank you cause now there is only one goal in this new life you have given me."

"I guess that would be revenge on Father Mitchell?" 

" Exactly. I just need to get stronger I just don't know how." 

"Well if it makes you feel better you actually have a sacred gear with power just waiting to burst out." 

"Really! How can I try to draw it's power?" 

"First things first you need to rest, Tomorrow bright and early I will show you how to tap into your sacred gears power."

"I guess that would be the best option I have." 

" Don't worry I know you care for the nun so I won't argue about it with you like I did Issei." 

"Wait Issei is a devil too?"

"Yes he also met the nun and was gonna pull a stupid stunt of trying to save her." 

"hehe I was probably gonna do the same thing but I understand as I am right now I can't do much other than be a running target for any unwanted attention." 

"Don't worry I'm gonna help you find a way to save her." 

"Thanks Rias I owe you for this. I truly do" 

"No problem Y/n get some rest." 

"Will do have a nice night Rias." 

Once Rias closed the door  I looked out my window and lost myself  more and more in my thoughts wondering about where Asia could be and if the orphans are real or just an illusion created by Father Mitchell if that's even possible.

"Asia... no matter where you are I will find you." 

I feel my eyelids become heavy and slowly fall back asleep waiting for my first official day as a devil in Rias' group

"ugh five more- what the when did I go outside and WHEN DID IT GET ALL SNOWY." 

I wake up in a snowy field but oddly don't feel cold at all. The scenery around me is a snow filled wasteland with nothing my snow within my view and a what looks to be a mountain in the distance. 

Do you seek power to save the ones you hold dear to you. 

"Huh!? who said that?!? Show yourself!!" 

As if it were an anime cliche a giant white wolf with piercing cyan eyes appears.  

"wow."

 If you truly seek power lets make a deal. In exchange for my powers, you will prove to all your enemies that a wolf's fangs should not be taken so lightly. prove to them that the chill of death will come to them no matter how powerful they may be. 

" As long as I can protect all the people I care about I will accept your terms." 

"Perfect you may just see me as a mere arctic wolf but I am Mars Beowolf you and I will be seeing each other soon but for now awaken to your new found power." 

"Wait I have so many questions for you Ma-" 

Before I can even finish my sentence a large gust of wind seemingly takes Mars out of my view and I am soon surrounded by nothing but piling snow.

I hope you all are staying safe during these weird times we are currently living in. I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and the brief introduction of your new found powers.Short chapter I know but the next one there will be more to it.  Now I know there is an inconsistency with Rias. 

"but Matthias why did you make Rias more understandable to the reader while in the anime-" 

wow there bud  calm down I get it. Rias in the Anime doesn't let Issei go near Asia after she gets taken away from Raynare. I just want the relationship with Rias be that of a Motherly figure helping her friends out. Sort of Exaggerate the positives of each character while trying to keep their original quirkiness.
