bad interview

bts was recently in america, promoting the map of the soul: 7 album. they had done multiple interviews with amazing host all genuinely interested in the concept they were bringing with this album.

but this interview... was certainly interesting for reasons. sitting in two rows, the first had namjoon, taehyung, hoseok, and seokjin. the second has jeongguk, yoongi, jimin and mj at the end.

"today we have bts, global superstars with us! please introduce yourselves"

"hello, i'm rm. i'm the leader of bts," namjoon said with a smile and wave to the camera

"hi guys, i'm v." he said calmly with giving a peace sign

"i'm your hope, you're my hope, i'm j-hope!" hoseok exclaimed, laughing at the end

"hello, my name is jin, and uh, world wide handsome,"

on the second row, everyone looks to see jeongguk, excitedly waving like a toddler "hi everybody, i'm jungkook,"

"hi everyone, i'm suga," yoongi states calmly

"hi~ i'm jimin," he cupped his face with his hands

"hello i'm m-" jiwoo was cut off,

"alright now that we know everyone, lets get started." the interviewer said

what? 

mj sits, mouth hanging  open. did this woman just deliberately cut her off or was it an accident? jiwoo decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and played it off like an accident. 

she smiles and listens as the host explains what they'll be doing today, and all the repetitive introductions they do every show.

what feels like an hour, but really was only about twenty minutes, jiwoo finally got a question. it wasnt truly directed towards her, but the boys did not hesitate to get mj to answer 

"so, what is the concept of map of the soul: 7?" the interviewer asked

"mj, you explain it the best, why don't you do the honors?" namjoon turned to her

"what? what am i explaining?" she asked

"map of the soul: 7 concept." he explained, "do you want too?" 

"no. but i guess i will" she clears her throat and sit up properly, "um, it's definatly one of teh most personal albums we've made... i think that the soundtrack on mot-7 serve as pockets where the members retrospectively analyze the people they have become over the 'seven winters and springs'. rm, wroded it well at the global press conference for the album release." she says making eye contact with him. " bascially what he said was that it's a look at the past and a welcome to the future." she finishes quickly

after that the interview continued going just fine, just some simple questions about the album, easy peasy . then things took a dark turn.

"so, out you seven, who do you think is the best looking?" the interviewer asked, crossing her legs to cause her skirt to rise up. the boys can be seen slightly scrunching their noses and looking towards to the staff

"um... out of us 7? who do we think is the best looking?" namjoon awkwardly translated, 

"out of us eight, i think mj is the, uh, best looking," yoongi said, emphasizing the eight. the boys quickly agreed, and mj sat, bored from this interview/

"oh, really? i thought you would have said jin or jimin," she said, butchering their names, "so," she continued, "i know everyone played a important role in the making of map of the soul:7 , and you all must be tired from the grueling practices and recordings," she took off her jacket, making her cleavage visible, she eyed the boys. mj stared at the interviewer, knowing exactly where this was going   "but what about you jay-won? seems there not a lot to do when all the boys were busy" she smirked, "what did you do all day?"

"your skirts riding up." she replied

"excuse me?"

"your skirts riding up. you might want to pull it down so you don't flash anyone." jiwoo explained "also, my name is jiwoo."
