I'm attending a private writing school, which is really amazing. It's my first year here and I'm really excited about it but also scared. I took a deep breath while I was standing in front of the big school door. I opened the door and took a few steps inside. I had to go and see the Principal since I was a new student. The school was big and I would easily be able to get lost in it. I wasn't really paying attention to where I was walking, so I accidentally bumped into a guy. I looked at him. He had pretty brown eyes and a gorgeous smile. "I'm so sorry!" I said and ran away. "That was so awkward Storm, get yourself together. I will just avoid him for the whole year, how hard can it be." I said out loud. And again bumped into someone. "I'm sorry," I said quickly. Ugh, this is going very terrible I thought. She turned around and looked at me. "Oh hi, you must be new here, right? I was just looking for you." I looked at her with a shocked expression on my face and nodded. "Come, I'll show you around the school." she was really nice. We turned around and when we almost turned left, I hid behind the wall. She looked at me surprised. "Can we go the other way?" I asked. She smiled and turned the other way. "So what brings you here?" she asked. "Uhhhhh... I just wanted to experience something new, because I didn't travel much when I was a kid and then this opportunity came so I took it." lying was so hard but it was also necessary, I can't tell people the truth why I'm here. I'm not allowed to. She looked at me like she didn't believe me, but she only smiled and pretended that this awkward moment didn't happened. I could tell she was sceptical. She showed me around and while we were walking past the offices I stopped. "I have to meet with Principal but I can't find his office," I said. "His office is right down the hall and on your right." she smiled to me and I smiled back. "Thank you for showing me around. I feel less lost than I did before." we waved to each other and before she went to her class I yelled: "What's your name?" she turned around, smiled and said: "I'm Summer," she said. We waved each other for the last time and I went into Principal's office. "Miss Skies. You're very late," he said. I sat down and said: "I'm sorry, I've bumped into one of the students and she showed me around a little bit." he looked surprised but continued anyway. "Everything that happens in this school, we take really seriously, including our students, that must take their responsibilities seriously." I looked down and then back up. "I completely understand," I said. "Good, then I expect from you nothing but seriousness in every class." I nodded. " here's your schedule." I took my schedule and thanked him, got up and walked to the doors when he said: "Wait for a minute young lady" he said when I was standing by the door. "Miss Tyson please come to my office." I've decided to sit down on the sofa and wait for whoever Miss Tyson was. *nock nock nock*. "Come in!" said Principal. "oh hey Storm," said Summer. I was kind of shocked to see her again, but hey, better to see Summer twice in the same day than a complete stranger. I can't and I don't want to get too attached to people in this school. I've made my decision before I even got here, fewer friends that I make the better I will be. "can I see your schedule for a second Storm?" she asked. I nodded and gave her schedule. "Great! we have most of the classes together. this is going to be an amazing year, I can already feel it." I stared at her blankly but somehow managed to smile at her back. "Oh come on, you're already late." she said happily. I turned around to see Principals face and I've almost asked him to save me, but he just smiled and waved us off.
