Adrien was the first to wake up; he snuck away to grab his presents carefully. He took holidays seriously. Handmade gifts for his entire class, but he'll focus on his families first. "Mom, wake up." Adrien waited for what seemed like an eternity before he tried gently shaking her. "You alive?" He said it jokingly, but then he violently shook her to make sure.
"wh-what.. can't I have one more hour.." She pulled the blanket over her head.
"but I have your gift..I made sure that dad would enjoy it.."
"fine, show me, but if I forget, please don't blame me.." She rubbed her eyes, accepting the red, overly decorated box.
Adrien could barely wait! He knew how much she'd wanted to see this.
"Oh my god.." She pulled a men's leather jacket out of the box with some clip-on piercings. "For him?" A large smile graced her face as she looked over to Gabriel. She would enjoy the embarrassed look on his face, mainly because he frowned upon piercings.
"Of course! And I have something he's always wanted to see you in. If you wake him up." He revealed a creamy white box with a red bow.
She looked at him blankly, "is it as embarrassing as the leather jacket?"
Adrien shook his head. "I don't think so."
She paused, "not as embarrassing as the time you made me wear that reindeer costume for Christmas?"
He shook his head again.
Nathalie lightly shook Gabriel. If she had to wake up for her gift, he was surely going to wake up for his.
"Do I have to.."
"Please?" Nathalie kept her hand on his shoulder.
He groaned tiredly, putting on his glasses. Gabriel took the creamy white box, opening it slowly to tick off Nathalie on purpose.
"Gabriel, just rip it- It is 5:15 in the morning."
Gabriel tore off the red and white striped ribbon before opening the box. A long pause followed afterward. "It looks lovely, Adrien, but I don't think it will fit me," he took the backless dress out from the box.
"The designs were on your tablet. I assumed you made them for Nathalie because of the resemblance, so... I asked Marinette, and she agreed to help me."
"Ah, thank you, Adrien. I'm sure it'll look lovely on her." He smirked, looking down at the slim dress.
"It'll look great on you, especially at the Charity Gala next month."
"Gabriel, I could never. I'm practically exposed-"
"It is backless, not topless, Nathalie."
"Then you will have to wear this; you look stunning in black, sir," she teased.
"Oh no, I'm n-" He was kissed, which effectively shut him up.
(This was completely edited/redone when I was looking back at old stories I realized how embarrassing the ending of this one was- 😶)
