Shu and Alex have been working hard for the school's Valentine's day Dance. It was hard to fill the gym when it was only two people. How did they both get in this mess you ask? Well you see....
Their art teacher had assigned the entire class to help out, with the dance, which was today, but no one else came because they didn't think he was serious.... Those little brats..
Apart from that the teacher had to go to a meeting so Shu and Alex were the only ones to help out with it.
After about an hour of yelling and tripping on streamers the two finally sat down and viewed their work.

Not bad for two kids in a gym.
"So are you coming to the dance?" Alex asked.
"Probably not.." Shu replied
"I mean I dont really want to come either. Mostly because of social anxiety but also since I'd have to go alone." Alex said as she looked at the ground.
"Well that would make two of us, I'dalso have to go alone..." Shu kinda spaced out.
"Or you know..........you could go with Valt." Alex told him with a smirk on her face.
Shu who was barely paying attention replied with a "yeah that would be nice."
Alex got up and dusted off her jeans. "Ok then let's me call him then.."
Shu finally came back to reality. "Wait who are you calling?"
"Valt, you said you wanted to go with him didn't you..." Alex said as she searched her contacts.
"Wait dont do that!!" Shu yelled as he grabbed her phone.
"Hey!! Give it back!!" Alex tried jumping up and grab her phone but she was too short to take it from him.
"You cant just call him" Shu looked down on her..
"Why not?? Its obvious you like him." Alex replied.
"I know but what if he doesn't like me and rejects me." His face fell and Alex stopped trying to get her phone.
"What if he's still mad at me after the Red Eye incident.."
Alex didn't know how to respond to that. After a while she spoke.. "Would you like me to go undercover for you?"
Shu was a little confused by that and it clearly showed in his face.
"I could hang out with him and convince him to go to the dance with me as friends. Then you can take it from there."
Shu kinda just kinda stood there trying to think. For as long as he's wanted, he wanted Valt to love him the way he loved him. He wanted to protect him and make him feel happy. Like he did before becoming a major jerk. He hated to see him cry.. It broke his heart...to see him like that...back then, that wasn't him...he had become a different person. One who didn't care about him. Which was someone he didn't want to be.
