Waking up with a start, Midoriya sat bolt upright - his eyes wide and breathing ragged. Looking around the room, he slowly calmed his breathing and began to relax.

Picking up his phone, he checked the time. It was almost 7 in the morning. He decided to dial a number before putting the phone to his ear.

He waited until the person he dialed picked up.
"Hey Midoriya..." His best friend, Kirishima answered sleepily.
"Morning Kiri. Don't forget what day today is. Can't be late for the job." Midoriya reminded his red haired friend.
"Yeah yeah I know... I'll meet you at yours in forty five minutes." He replied, yawning midway through his sentence.
Midoriya giggled at his response. "You'd better. Don't wanna be late for this."
"Oh chill. Cya soon." With that, Midoriya said goodbye and hung up the phone, in order to get himself ready for the day.

Within half an hour, the green haired male was showered and dressed in a simple white shirt and suit pants with a black tie and shoes to complete the look. Despite his attempts, his hair remained fluffy and unkempt, so he sighed and gave up - thinking it was decent enough.

With fifteen minutes left before Kirishima was due to arrive, Midoriya made himself a simple, small coffee hoping it would help his tiredness at least for a little while.

Sitting down, he sunk into the comfort of his armchair, the sweet smell of the coffee relaxing his nerves. A sudden knock on his door interrupted his peace. Midoriya stood and placed his almost empty coffee cup down on the table and answered the door.

"Told you." The spiky red haired male boasted once the door was opened for him.
Midoriya just rolled his eyes and stepped aside letting Kirishima into the house. "Yeah yeah whatever" he replied closing the door.

He took note of what Kirishima was wearing. Pretty much the same as he was except Kirishima's sleeves were rolled just above his elbow.

"You sure rolled sleeves is a good first impression?" He snickered.
"I'll have you know that it doesn't matter. Plus I heard that the Mafia agency we're going to has two bosses. And one of them has a thing for red heads." He winked.
"Pfft. I highly doubt that. Whatever it's your choice. We should get going. Don't wanna be late." Midoriya teased in a friendly manner before grabbing his car keys and walking out the door - Kirishima not far behind.

The journey to the Mafia agency was roughly half an hour away. Both males were silent, only the music from the radio playing quietly in the background. That was until Kirishima broke it.

"This may sound like a daft question but.... do you think you'd be dissuaded from the job if the bosses are attractive?"
"Oh please Kiri. We've had to deal with attractive before. Just one time to release their guard and bang. They're dead." Midoriya replied, keeping his eyes on the road.

"I guess.... but I'm getting getting tired of it now. Having to do these sort of jobs and not actually being able to settle down...." Kirishima stated, his eyes looking sorrowfully out the window.
Midoriya glanced around him, noticing the look on his face. He sighed, in a defeated manner. "We'll see. I just don't wanna risk getting caught. You know what she is like." The greenette reminded.
"Yeah yeah I know.... unfortunately...."

After that the two males fell silent again, as their journey continued.

After a while, Midoriya eventually pulled up outside a large mansion - it's bricks almost black, the windows stained and the doors to its entrance wooden and sturdy.
The two males stayed in the car, astounded by the shear size of the mansion.

Kirishima gulped. "Bro... I don't think I can do this...."
Midoriya turned to look at him. He noticed sweat dripping down his forehead, his hands trembling and eyes wavering in fear. Midoriya knee why.
He carefully placed his hand on the red heads shoulder and looked at him dead in the eye. Kirishima flinched slightly at the touch, but looked back at Midoriya regardless.
"I know you don't like these places. But trust me, the sooner we get the job done to sooner we can leave. Sound good?" Midoriya tried to comfort him.
"I... I suppose. J...just hope the bosses have a good first impression. Sooner their guards are let down the easier it'll be right?" Kirishima replied half talking to himself to try and calm down his nerves.
"Right. You feel a little better now?" Midoriya asked, taking his hand off his shoulder.

Kirishima nodded as a response and went to open the door for himself. Midoriya followed, taking his keys out of the ignition and getting out of the car. Both males stood beside the car, facing the mansion - both of them starting to feel the nerves kicking in.

"Ready?" The greenette asked.
"As I'll ever be." The red head replied making them both snicker from the reference.

Looking ahead of them again, they were soon walking towards the entrance that leads to their future.
But neither of them knew exactly what this future held.
