Chapter 5 - Just Getting Started

Todoroki was up early the next morning. He dressed himself up in his usual suit attire and combed the colours of his hair after getting out of the shower. He was thankful that Midoriya was still hugging his pillow. He dug in his drawer, putting a fresh handful of lollipops in his pocket before taking another and unwrapping it, popping it into his mouth. It was healthy he knew but honestly he didn't care. He took once last glance at the greenette on his bed, last nights kiss replaying in his head before he opened the door and made his way to the roof with the certainty that's where Bakugo would be.

Bakugo was always the first to wake up. He glanced across his room, studying the red head that lay practically sprawled out on his bed, one arm softly laying on his stomach. The kiss repeated in his head and it made the blonde shake his head in disbelief. He stood up and prepared himself for the day, grabbing his half pack of cigarettes and lighter before heading to the roof.

Shortly after lighting it, he heard footsteps getting louder and he knew exactly who it was.
"Woke up early to avoid misunderstanding too huh?" He asked not even looking back to double check it was his heterochomatic partner.

"What else would I do?" The male replied as he came to a halt beside him.
"Tsk yeah right true...." Bakugo agreed as he took another drag of his cigarette.
Silence fell over them as they finished their respective morning rituals, Bakugo flicking the cigarette over the rail and Todoroki throwing the stick of the lollipop into the bin on the roof.
"Well we better get back to our rooms to wake them or we'll be late." Todoroki informed as he began to walk towards the roof's exit.

Bakugo followed silently and walked passed his partner, the both of them quickly making their way to their respective rooms.

Midoriya slowly gained consciousness, his eyes blinking and adjusting to the lights as he sat up rubbing his pounding temples.
"Where am I? My head is hurting so much...." he groaned before suddenly snapping his eyes open as his mind replayed last nights kiss with Todoroki.
"Oh my god, what I did yesterday...... I'm so getting fired...." he hung his head low in shame.

"You won't get fired. And good morning." A voice suddenly spoke, making the greenette jump and look up to see Todoroki stood by the door fully dressed.
Midoriya's mind ran wild and his cheeks flushed a little thinking about the many possibilities of what on earth happened after they shared that kiss.

Bakugo walked into his room, thankful the red head was still asleep. He quickly refilled his cigarette packet before he took an attempt to wake the other male.

"Hey you get up already!" His voice was gruff and deep as he stood by the door, watching the male in his bed jump awake and slowly sit up before he continued.

"Not only did you make me carry you back here last night now you're going to make me late for work." The ash blonde grumbled looking at the floor showing annoyance.

All Kirishima could do was blink multiple tiles as his mind kept asking multiple questions - the main one being Did I spend the night at his house?!

All four males met up back in the same office they greeted each other in the morning before, Todoroki being the first to speak.
"Today you shall be receiving minimal training. Bakugo and I have decided that we're going to allow you to explore the place. The only place you are forbidden to explore is up the staircase in the far east of the building." He explained, a half eaten lollipop in his mouth.

Midoriya and Kirishima nodded in understanding silently waiting for further instructions, on edge after the events of last night.

"You can explore during the morning and mid afternoon we shall train for a few hours, meeting here at roughly three pm." Todoroki informed. The interns bowed again as the heterochromia male and the ash blonde stepped out of the room, heading to an unknown location to the interns.

Once the other males left, the red head and greenette straightened, looking at each other with worried looks.
"I don't understand. We should've been fired for our behaviour last night..." Midoriya spoke up, his voice shaky as he thought back to how careless he had acted last night.
"I don't know how I'm going to look at Todoroki in the eye after this..." he looked down at his feet ashamed of himself as Kirishima spoke up.

"Just act as usual I guess," he suggested looking at his distressed friend. "Or at least try to do it...." he muttered as Midoriya looked up a strained look on his face.
"It'll be difficult but I suppose there's not much we can do. We still have a job to do after all...." his voice was barely a whisper.

Todoroki and Bakugo made their ways to a separate room located on the far west of the building, staying in silence thinking to themselves.
They reached the room, still in silence for several minutes as they looked at the floor before Todoroki finally decided to break it.
"What are we going to do?"
"What do you mean? We can't do anything can we?" The ash blonde replied, finally looking at his partners.
"These aren't ordinary beginners." Todoroki pointed out, taking the lollipop out of his mouth.
Bakugo just scoffed as he folded his arms.
"On their first day the decided to kiss." At this an idea struck in head - glancing at his partner seeing he had a similar devilish look on his face meaning the same idea has also struck him.

"No one has ever allowed this to occur and not get away with it." The heterochromia male stated in a sly tone, putting the lollipop back into his mouth.
"Looks like we need to teach them a lesson." Bakugo smirked as he looked at Todoroki, his eyes brimming with excitement and deviousness.
