Banana Gum Entertainment has responded to reports that its new girl group is preparing to debut sometime in early July. On June 16, news outlet Ilgan Sports reported that Banana Gum Entertainment's upcoming idol group is gearing up to make their highly-anticipated debut in July. According to the report, industry insiders and broadcast networks have already known for some time that the groups debut was scheduled for July.
However, Banana Gum Entertainment stated that the girl group's debut date has not yet been set in stone. The agency told Ilgan Sports, "We plan to make an announcement when [the date] has been confirmed."
A representative of Banana Gum Entertainment later made a similar statement to media outlet Newsen, responding to the reports by commenting, "We plan to announce the debut date once it has been confirmed."
