-Jasmine-

The new house was beautiful, and when I say beautiful, I mean beautiful. My mother loved it, all she could do was smile. When I walked to my room, I almost cried, it was perfect, it was so perfect I actually went and hugged Jovian.

It was kind of late when we arrived so we all went to sleep, but the next day, we were up unpacking things. I think the reason we unpacked so fast was because we were ready for the house to feel like home.

I grabbed my purse, sitting down on my bed, before pulling out the pictures of me and my father. We were both smiling hard in every picture, happy to be with each other. I missed him, I miss playing with him, laughing with him, everything.

I was so focused on the pictures that I didn't notice my mother walk in the room and sit down beside me. "I miss him to 'Jas, but he wouldn't want us to cry, he would want us to be happy, and cherish the memory's that we had with him."

I wiped my tears away, nodding my head, "Your right, I just miss him so much. I can't help think what life would be like if he was still here."

My mother pulled me into her, hugging me tightly, "I do too Jasmine, I think about it alot, my heart will always belong to your father, but I love Jovian too, not as much as I love your father but I do love him."

I lifted from my mothers tight hold and looked her in the eyes, "What does Jovian have to do with my father?"

She ignored my questioned to the fullest, rubbing my face with her hand, "God you remind me so much of your father, those hazel eyes, that pretty bright skin, the perfect deep dimples that I could never stop loving, and those beautiful face features."

I smiled, thinking about my handsome father and I, we were the perfect twins, you couldn't deny that I was his. I sat there in my mothers arms for awhile, just breathing, thinking, and letting everything go.

Hearing a knock at my bedroom door, we looked up to see Jovian standing there. I stood up after my mother and gave her a hug, "Thanks, for being there."

She looked down at me, her 5'4 height compared to my 4'9 height was hilarious to Jovian. "That's what I'm here for."

My mother made her way to the kitchen to start dinner, but Jovian stood at my doorway, I don't know why but he was there. He reached in his pocket and pulled out the keys to his 09 Cadillac.

He handed me the keys with no hesitation, "I know you don't wanna be in the house on a Saturday night, especially not in California, so go and explore, but please call me and your mother to let us know that your safe, and don't be out so late."

I looked down at the keys in my hand to see if he had really handed me his keys. Believe it or not but I had been driving since I was 13, my father had been teaching me early. "Are you serious?"

Jovian laughed at my face expressions, "Yeah, just don't wreck my car."

I gave him a hug, for the second time today, "Thanks, you won't regret this."

He nodded, walking out the room, "I hope not."

I jumped around, excited, my first night in California and I was already driving excalades and shit. I didn't know what to expect so I put on something cute but simple.

I wasted no time jumping in Jovian's car. I adjusted the seat to my size before cranking up the car, after I got out the driveway I plugged my phone up to the radio, playing 'No Type'.

I didn't know where I was going, but one thing I did know, I was going somewhere.
