What if Deku had a quirk? How will the story of My Hero Academia change?
I don't know what I'm doing, so please bear with me on this story.
I don't own the Characters or MHA as a whole
"W-W-WHAT!!?" Izuku yelled. He couldn't believe what was in front of his eyes. The thoughts running 10,000 miles per minute were, 'Did All Might leave? Who is this..... man-skeleton? How did All Might switch another person here so fast?' "Y-Y-YOU'RE N-NOT ALL M-MIGHT!!"
"Trust me kid, I am All Mig-blegh" The sickly skeleton man who was now dubbed as supposedly All Might said while some blood came out of his mouth.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH ARE YOU OK!!!??"
"Yeah," All Might says while wiping the blood from his mouth. "Look kid I'm gonna show you something, but don't go blabbing it to someone else or on the internet ok?" Izuku nods at his request. All Might lifts up his shirt to reveal a nasty scar on his abdomen.

"This is a wound I got five years ago fighting a villain."
"Five years ago? so that was the fight against Toxic Chainsaw."
"Heh, you know your stuff kid. What's your name?"
"Izuku Midoriya."
"Lovely name. No, that villain couldn't even put a scratch on me. This was a fight I tried to keep under wraps for a while. I've hidden this form for a while from the people because they need to think that their symbol is always smiling, strong and will protect them from anything. Not some weakling who can't do much hero work. I've only got three hours to do what I can and be All Might and save everyone I can. And as for your question about your quirk, yes you can be a hero. There's a saying my master taught me and that is "It's not the quirk that makes it evil, it's the quirk user."
Izuku was happy that he heard he could be a hero, from his idol no less. He was happy with what he heard until he realized something. "Hey All Might what happened to th-"
As he was about to ask what happened to the sludge villain until he was interrupted by an explosion in the distance. All Might checked his pockets, and he paled.
Both Izuku and All Might shared a look before running to the explosion to see if their gut was correct. ________________________________________ Time skip ________________________________________
All Might POV
As we ran to where the explosion happened I saw the same villain that I had captured. I couldn't go in there and stop it because I was at my limit. Then I saw him, an ash blond kid was held hostage and I couldn't do anything about it. I'm sorry, I can't help him, I'm hopeless. A sorry excuse for a hero. Worthle- huh?
Izuku POV
I don't know why but before I could register that I moved, I'm half way to Kacchan and the sludge villain with it only coming closer. I start to panic on what I should do until I remember my hero notebook. I whirl my book bag (what do they call them in Japan?) and throw it at the sludge villain. I manage to hit it in the eye with one of the books that fell out and he slightly released Kacchan, letting him breathe. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING DEKU!!!?" Kacchan yelled at me.
"I DON'T KNOW MY LEGS MOVE ON THEIR OWN!" But then I thought about it, and I knew the real reason. "Kacchan, I couldn't just sit there and watch you die."
After I told Kacchan why I came to save him, the sludge villain regained the ability to see and he was angrier than he was just a few minutes ago and attacked. "Boy this is gonna hurt." I said as I made the biggest sheild I could make (about the size of Capitain America's sheild) to try and somewhat lessen the damage I was about to take. That was the idea, waiting until the hit came...... but It never did. Instead what I saw was All Might in his buff form holding back the sludge villian from hitting me but he also looks like he's straining himself. "YOU KNOW, YOU'RE NOT VERY SMART KID, BUT, YOU ARE VERY HEROIC TYING TO SAVE HIM." All Might said to me.
No one POV
All Might then proceeds to punch the sludge to bits and pieces on the walls while also turning the weather from nice sunny day, to raining. Oh and Izuku got scolded for trying to save Katsuki (not like they were trying to do anything). While that was happening Katsuki was being praised for surviving the sludge monster. After Izuku finished being scolded by the heroes, he started walking home while he was walking home, Katsuki ran to Izuku before saying saying he didn't need his help. "DEKU!! I DIDN'T NEED YOUR HELP, AND YOU DID NOT SAVE ME!!!"
"You're welcome, I guess." Izuku said. Just as he was going to continue walking home, All Might appeared out of no where in his buff form. "A-All Might! How did you get past the media?"
"I STAND FOR JUSTICE! NOT SOUND BYTES! HAHAH- Bleeeuuugh." All Might said before spitting blood and turning back to his weak form.
"AAAAAHHHH!!!" Izuku screams not used to All Might deflating and spitting blood.
"Listen Kid"
"You can call me by my name."
"Young Midoriya, I've come to ask you a question, what happened when you went to try and save that kid?"
"I don't know one minute I'm watching Kacchan from the sidelines, the next I'm running towards him like my legs moved on their own."
"Just as I suspected, there are many stories of how great heroes came to be, but they all have one thing in common. Their legs moved on their own."
By this point Izuku was wondering where this was going, until he heard All Might say, " I want you to inherit my power and become the nineth holder on ONE FOR ALL."
Now Izuku was extremely confused he wanted to know if it was even possible to give quirks to other people. He unconsciously started mumbling until All Might yelled for him to, as he so elegantly put it, " STOP NERDING OUT!" All Might sighed and aaked him again, "Do you want my power or not?"
Izuku thought for a bit before saying yes.
"I accept your power." _________________________________________ Sorry I couldn't make a chapter earlier, but I got my phone taken from me and I couldn't write but now here you go. BTW I'm making another book I plan to call "Dark cannot exist without Light" I don't have many plans for it yet so bear with me. Hope you enjoyed this chapter
